Statement of Purpose

My name is Lakhwinder Singh lives in northern part of the Indian country in

Haryana State. I was born on 27/10/2005. I am seeking admission in the
reputed institute University of Brighton International College.l to pursue a
degree in Bachelor of Science (Honours)- Computer Science.

I completed my senior secondary education from Haryana Board of Seondary

education in 2022 with 88.4% score and secondary education from the same
board with 64.8% marks in 2020.

To complete the English proficiency requirement I appeared in PTE exam on

14 Sept 2022 in which I scored 53 overall and individually in Listening 57,
reading 54, speaking 57 and writing 50.

After the completion of my senior secondary education I got very much

confused about the choice of higher education institute as education gained
from these institutes will decide my career in future so I researched and took
advise from my teachers. After consulting my teachers and visiting a few
universities websites I took decision that I will pursue my higher education
overseas as the education system in my home country is solely based on
theoretical part which does not help in the future when one require
employment. After more research I find out that United kingdom is the best
country for me for higher education. One of the main reason is that The fact
that the UK is home to 89 of the 1300 institutions in the world, according to
the QS World University Ranking 2023, can be used to evaluate the level of
education in the country. In addition to this, the UK is home to a significant
number of universities where I can receive a top-notch education. Another
reason for choosing UK is that I will receive topnotch education which will help
me to build my career in better way.

After the research on country it was very important to decide the right Institute
where I can get admission as per my academic score and English Language
Test Score. There are many universities in UK where I can get admission but I
chose University of Brighton International College because it meets both my
academic and budgetary needs. International students have access to a
remarkable experience in the UK thanks to University of Brighton International
College. A really distinctive teaching approach, designed with the
contemporary learner in mind, and situated in one of the most fascinating
places to live, learn, and develop.

I have selected 2-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate - Business,

Tourism and Social Sciences - Transfer to Bachelor of Law (LLB) - Law with
Criminology as this course will help me to take my career to the new heights
I recognise that when working, I should take advantage of any opportunity to
learn. After finishing my education, I might pursue a range of careers, some of
which include:
 Actuarial Analyst.
 Corporate Investment Banker.
 Business Adviser.
 Arbitrator.
 Business Development Manager.
 Data analyst.
 Management Consultant.
 Forensic knowledge.

I firmly believe that the admissions department will find my profile well suited
to the requirements of the course and will give me a chance to be a part of
this university. I look forward to studying at the University of Brighton
International College to boost up my professional career.
