Personal Statement of Jabed Hasan

I have completed my OTHM Level 4 Business Management in 2019. My desire is to choose

International Business BA (Hons) Top-Up at Coventry University. I think UK is the best choice
for me. That’s why I choose UK not home country.

Before making my decision to study at Coventry University I have considered few factors such
as overall ranking, course satisfaction rate, course structure, TEF rating and location. The
University has TEF gold rating means they are consistently delivering outstanding teaching and
learning outcomes for its students. Coventry University is one of the top Public universities in
Coventry, United Kingdom. It is ranked #541-550 in QS Global World Rankings 2021 Also
according to Times European Teaching Ranking 2019; it is ranked 51-75 th. According to Times
World University ranking 2021, Coventry ranked 601-800th. And in Young University ranking
2020, Coventry ranks 201-250th.

When it’s time to choose country my first priority is to study at UK. UK universities are
renowned for high academic standards. Compared to other countries, the living and health- care
costs are reasonable in the UK. UK student visa is easier to obtain than for other
countries. UK has a multi- cultural atmosphere that is difficult to find in any other country.
UK universities are ranked among the top world universities and they are highly competitive, not
only among domestic students but also international ones. The UK has countless high education
institutions, and almost every single one of them has opportunities for international students
to study. This is why I choose to further my studies in the UK to become more valuable in the
job market, which will enable me to reach my future goal. I believe that further study in the UK
is an important first step on the path to my career goals. Higher education degrees and
qualifications from UK universities are recognized by employers and academics worldwide. The
Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) assess the quality of a university’s or college’s teaching and
its general facilities.

I have selected to choose International Business BA (Hons) Top-Up to complete my higher

studies. My motivation of choosing this course is the growing emergence of business field. In
addition, my previous qualification from Business Management course is directly related with
business field. As it is matched with my last qualification so I want to continue my further
studies from business sector and establish myself in Business Field. Also this course will help me
to achieve my career plan. The modules of this course will enhance my knowledge in business;
management and marketing field which I need to get my desire job. The course module will be
taught like Cross-Cultural Management, Global Business, English Business Communication and
Report Writing Skills, Analysing Quantitative Business Data, International Career Development.
This will help me to do the necessary research and improve my understanding skills.
After completing my degree I will return to my country and join any company such as ACI,
Beximco, Fresh, Navana as a Junior Business System Analyst. In this position I can earn 50000-
700000. After getting few years of work experience and knowledge I will able to promote as a
Senior Business System Analyst. I hope this degree will help me to reach my desire goal.
