BA (HONS) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

UNIVERSITY OF WOLVERHAMPTION

INTRODUCTION

My name is Narendra Kafle, Son of Mr. Kamal Prasad Upadhyay. I am permanent resident
of Lamki-1, Kailali and I am born on 2002-NOV-27 AD and my Passport number is 12290372. I
am helpful, hardworking, and happy person looking forward to study BA (Hons) Business
management at University of Wolverhampton.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDS

I've always been at the top of my class since my elementary school days. As for my
education, I have completed my secondary level examination from Ujyalo Shiksha Sadan
Secondary School, Lamki securing 2.75 GPA in the Year 2018 AD. Following that, I have
completed my higher secondary examination from Morgan International Secondary School
securing 3.17 CGPA in the year 2020.

WHY UK?

The very first reason to choose UK is that the diversity of people helps me to develop my
thinking ability from nationalism to Internationalism. The UK had its restlessness journey
towards excellence since decades. The UK learning experience allows students independent
thought, encourages proactive problem- solving skills, enables development of intellectual skills

Assurance Agency (QAA) an independent body that checks on standards and quality in higher
educations. It conducts quality assessment reviews, develops reference points and guidance for
providers, and conducts research on relevant issues. Because of the presence of the QAA there
won’t be any kind of compromise in education quality. Also, 40+ universities are Gold Rated
according to Teaching Excellence Framework.

REASON FOR CHOOSING UNIVERSITY OF WOLVERHAMPTION

develop general life skills like budgeting, teamwork, and meeting deadlines, which will
help me to succeed in my future profession. The wide range of subjects and electives on offer

inclusive education alongside innovative, internationally recognized research. I believe
quality education is the base for the future of any society, community, and even a country.
Taking up this course at a renowned university like the University of Creative Arts would
certainly help me to learn more and grow.  

WHY BA (HONS) BUSINESS MANAGEMNT?

One of the biggest highlights of studying a business management degree is the key management
skills that will allow us to be an asset to any organization. We will build a skill set to respond to
challenges and current developments in business and society, giving me the ability to make
informed managerial decisions that consider ethical, economic and social implications. Some of
these essential business management skills include Critical and strategic thinking,
communication, problem-solving, organization, presenting, leadership and project management.
This degree prepares me for a career in business management, giving me the skills, knowledge,
and experience to succeed. It includes hands-on, practical experience through working on real
business problems, consultancy projects with real clients and opportunities for internships.
We'll also have lots of support to set up your own business too. The study of this course
provides an opportunity to unleash an individual's creativity to a higher degree. Business
Management offers a wide range of career opportunities to its students due to the vast number of
subjects covered within the course. Therefore, the scope of career in Business management
course offers a wide range of opportunities for individuals pursuing this course of study. So, this
is the reason for choosing this course.
MY FUTURE PLANS AFTER COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE

The biggest achievement is degree itself from UK, which is highly valued and respected in my
home country. Different opportunities will be created after the successful completion of the
course, where the knowledge acquired from the institution to be faced practically and to
implement the experience, ideas and all learned skills. In context of Nepal, numerous and various
multinational companies have been established or in verge of establishment which is safe for
investor since easy access to the resources and recruitment of local manpower are easier. As it is
a developing country, with lots of career oriented opportunities where I can pursue job in
different multinational hotels and big company like Nepal Telecom, Smart-cell, Butwal Power
Company, Unilever Nepal, Pharmaceutical industries and big hydro projects in my country,
as a manager, Operation Manager, Marketing manager, Financial advisor, Human resource
specialist or a Fundraiser, capable of carrying different managerial tasks, develop and execute
strategies, do strategic planning, and deal with a broad range of people. Companies which are in
my bucket list for job after completion of my degree in United Kingdom are Soltee Crown Plaza,
Everest hotel, Hotel Yak &, Yeti, Radisson Hotel, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Hotel Annapurna,
Malla Hotel, Shankar Hotel etc. which are already on operation in Nepal, whereas some other
international hotels will be on operation in coming future like Swiss-international, Fairfield hotel
by Marriott, Hotel Bliss International, Argyle Hotel Group etc. Such international hotels are
striving to get skilled manpower and new breed of managers that are graduated from UK
education system. According to the survey of 2017/18by Average Salary Survey, Nepal, a
manager of a well above-mentioned hotel is getting a handsome salary of around NRs. 200,000
to NRs. 250,000 and above depending upon the job folio and the company profile. It is
considered as a good income in my home country compared to living expenses of UK. And with
potential I show, I believe my salary will reach 6 digits within a couple years.

I can live a standard life with this sum of income along with my parents as living cost in Nepal is
less than UK. With degree from UK, I hope to get double remuneration one in increased social
respect and other with increased career opportunity. Nepal has just entered the phase of
modernization. After political settlement in Nepal billions of dollars is pouring as foreign
investment, especially in Business and management and in tourism and hospitality sector of
Nepal. Companies are rushing to grab a big chunk of profit through lucrative investments
subsequently increasing demand for the professional business workers Finally, I hope that in the
near future, with the guidance of the experienced and learned professors in your institute, I will
have thoroughly cultivated my independent thinking and research capabilities. I eventually plan
to work as a professional manager in an international and national context, and I am convinced
that by studying alongside the dedicated professionals and students in your school, I will be able
to engage in enlightening research and acquire a more profound academic foundation Finally, I
hope that in the near future, with the guidance of the experienced and learned professors in your
institute, I will have thoroughly cultivated my independent thinking and research capabilities. I
eventually plan to work as a professional manager in an international and national context, and I
am convinced that by studying alongside the dedicated professionals and students in your school,
I will be able to engage in enlightening research and acquire a more profound academic
foundation day by day. I would like to be a part of change in the management sector of Nepal,
and I would like to prepare myself effectively in time so that I do not stand as a clay pot but
rather be distinctive candidate to compete with thousands of business professionals after my
return to Nepal.

INCENTIVES TO RETURN BACK TO NEPAL

I can assure you that I am a genuine visa applicant, and my only intention is to get an education
from renowned institution of UK. I have no intention to stay in UK, longer than my study
duration. I am a proud Nepalese citizen. My land has given a lot to me, and it is my duty as a
Nepali that I will develop my country working in the field of Information Technology. Being a
child grown up in eastern norms and values I was always taught that mother and native country
come before paradise and we must do something for the betterment of them, I have some
responsibility toward them in their old age. I am their support, and I can’t discard from the
responsibilities. My parents also own some property in my homeland, and I am the one
responsible to take care of it.

CONCLUSION

Finally, I hope that in the near future, with the guidance of the experienced and learned
professors in your institute, I will have thoroughly cultivated my independent thinking and
research capabilities. I eventually plan to work as a professional manager in an international and
national context, and I am convinced that by studying alongside the dedicated professionals and
