STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION

My name is Navaljot Kaur. I belong to Lakhimpur Kheri India. The name of my father is Mangal Singh and my
mother Daljeet Kaur is a house wife. My family is the biggest asset of mine as they are being there whenever I
need their support and help. They always wanted me to do where my interest lies. With their fullest support I
decided to study abroad.

As far as my educational background is concerned I did my 10 th grade in the year 2012 from KKRGHS School
Lakhimpur Kheri and secured 81% and did my 12 th grade from KKRGIC in the year 2014 and secured 71.4%.My
Passport number is V0062268 and my DOB is 11/05/1997. From 2014 to 2015 I did my diploma in computer
education from Axis India Computer Education. After passing intermediate I did my diploma in Electronics Engg
(Advance Microprocessor and Interface) from May 2015 to May 2018.

WHY UK?

I always wanted to explore the world to gain knowledge and experience and to understand the concepts all over
the world. Now I decided to peruse business management and started finding options. I decided to study in the UK
as I heard and studied a lot about the UK education system. The UK is one of the destinations which have emerged
as one of the favorites for students willing to pursue higher education. Apart from the regular benefits of highly
experienced faculty and phenomenal infrastructure, the quality education and its implications at the real life
industry experience that took place during study tenure itself. The UK universities, keeps students well informed
about the skills; experience and general trends of this rapidly changing discipline, also gives enough scope to
mould our course according to our interests and career aspirations, allowing students to specialize in the sub field
in which our expertise lies in. Universities offering courses have maintained strong educational and research links
with the business world ensuring the relevancy of the course to present competitive world. I believe that after
studying in the UK I will be able to stand different in the mass.

Why Business Management?

I always have an inclination towards business management and administration as I belong to a business family and
I am always curious on handling business and its diverse functional requirements. I want to study the subject to
gain understanding about the markets, economics, the financial policies, other business and industrial related
policies and so on which will sharp my fundamentals of business knowledge. The syllabus has made the several
inter disciplinary subjects as part of the course. I decided to go for business domain, as the academic severity
required in this stream is comparatively less as compared to other field. In addition, Business management is well
prepared to sustain as an entrepreneur. I will have adequate knowledge of adapting to the changes in the flexible
business world and can focus internationally and has an in-depth understanding of the business world’s market-
relevant aspects. The coursework would directly prepare me for greater role in the hierarchical structures of the
organizations with deeper insights of business in the private as well as government sectors. I will achieve
international exposure and it will help me utilizing the global knowledge in my home country, India. Hence
International Business in UK would add great personal and professional value to my profile. So this course is suits
the best in my need and interest.

Why University of Creative Arts?

During my search for various study destinations for my education I came across University of Creative Arts as I
heard a lot about the university from my seniors and gathered more information on the university. Firstly the
location of the university is outside the London which reduces the travel time and ensures the availability of
requirement easily. Further I went through the course content and found it pretty much of my interest and more
than the interest I found it relevant and updated good enough to compete in today’s globalised world. Here I
would be acquiring the knowledge of accounting and business, principles of marketing, economics for business,
operation management, business communication, change management, accounting for business,
entrepreneurship and leadership, international business management and lot more. The teaching methodology
comprises theory and practical both. The university is well known for its quality teaching and highly qualified
faculty. The course structure is designed to meet the employer need and relevant to today’s business. The
University has a strong focus on industry and community collaboration to produce engaged teaching and research
outcomes. The university is persistently ranked among the top UK University for the quality of its teaching,

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS:

After completing my course I will come back to India. I want to be with family. My family is my strength. Whatever
I have achieved so far and whatever I will be achieving in the future, the credit is always to them as it is their faith
in me because of which I get motivation to do better in my life. I have the trust that after acquiring knowledge and
skill from the UK, I will be able to get good opportunity in India as India is developing very fast and have ample of
opportunities, specially to highly qualified students. Moreover I always have an option to handle my own family
business where I can implement all my learning to take it to the higher level.
