I am a native of India, with a trade-oriented economy that is increasingly focused exporting to markets.

Many outstanding scholars from my country i.e Rajinder gupta. Ratan Tata, Adi Godrej, Anil Ambani,
Rahul Bajaj and many more have studied abroad to hone their skills with foreign teachers and classmates,
and this has been instrumental to the progress of my country’s economy. I hope to follow suit,
broadening my international perspective, improving my language skills, and refining my knowledge of
marketing.
This influenced me to study abroad. Before moving to another country one should know the entry
requirements, rules and circumstances. I knew if I wish to study in English speaking nation, I have to
score good in any English Language test. I appeared for IELTS exam on 21st Jan 2017 and I Got overall 6
band.

Upon receiving of my offer letter, I paid my fees and also have taken GIC investment plan from ICICI bank.
Acceptance from both institutions are attached with this sheet. I have also completed the medical
examination from Max Hospital, New Delhi.
Now coming to my family background. I am 20 year Old, Bachleor living with my parents in my home
country from Birth. I have one younger sister, Jiya mehta. She is studyding in 11th standard. My
grandparents are also living with us. My father, Mr. Deepak Kumar is owner of Deep Studio and also have
some agriculture lands. His annual income is approx. 4.70lac. My mother, Mrs. Neelam Rani is owner of
Beauty parlor and also deals with sales/purchase of beauty products. She earns approx. 3 lacs annually
from parlor business. I am having a economically strong family background here. And I enjoyed the social
life here in India.

Link with my previous Qualification:

I have studied mathematics, Accountancy and business studies, and believe these three subjects have
given me an excellent foundation to build on my accountancy studies. And one year diploma also strength
my skills but not up to that marks. In this diploma I learned the basic computers and basic software to
handle accounts but not to manage each and everything related to accounts and business world.

Accounting is a subject that I am greatly interested in, and wish to learn more about. Although I have a
broad range of interests, I have always been drawn to Accounting because to me it’s a very exciting
environment with lots of demands and challenges. However the thing that excites me the most about
business Accounting is the way it can directly and indirectly affect the lives of so many people.

WHY CHOOSE CANADA?

Canada places a lot of importance to education and maintains very high standards in education. A degree
acquired from Canadian universities in recognized globally and is valued highly in the international job
market. Canadian degrees, certificates, and diplomas are considered internationally equal to equivalent
degrees in the U.S. and other Commonwealth countries. Canadians are serious about education, and their
universities demonstrate that commitment with beautiful ultra-modern campuses.

Many outstanding scholars from my country have studied abroad to hone their skills with foreign
teachers and classmates, and this has been instrumental to the progress of my country’s economy. I hope
to follow suit, broadening my international perspective, improving my language skills, and refining my
knowledge of accounting.

 WHY NOT INDIA?

I have decided to pursue my degree overseas, as the expertise and facilities offered in my country’s
educational institutions are limited and thus unable to match the diversity and multiculturalism available
in the India. I look forward to meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. The ability
to listen and learn from others is crucial for professionals in all industries.

Similar programs are being offered by various colleges in India also, but they lack the embryonic nature
of accounting. No doubt that the professional programs in India do meet the international calibre but the
accounting bodies in India lack the active participation and this gap of collaboration is clearly depicted in
the offerings of the colleges & universities. With the international harmonization in business standards, I
feel that the programs in India are slightly outmoded. This program at Centennial not only provides in-
depth knowledge of business but also encompasses the legal environment that concerns the field of
Accounting.
Centennial college, with its mix of people from different backgrounds, is a true microcosm of the
international business world and thus the ideal place in which to pursue a business-based education.

ABOUT COURSE:

The course outline of Diploma in Business- Accounting covering every aspects that is developing of
organizational objectives, managing organizational change, how to contribute for organizational
development, developing of business plan, managing finances, and how to manage business process. This
course will enhance my knowledge and skills. Student educated from Canadian institutes are considered
more professional and skilled in their respected domains.

The financial scandals as well as crisis over the last decade have proven that regulations and Accounting
Standards cannot by themselves ensure that companies will always present an accurate picture of their
financial health. Thus, there are increasing demands for the Accounting profession to adopt stricter
ethical and professional standards.

Accounting programs have become particularly popular in recent year, especially among international
students.  Schools are thus scrambling to add new study and degree opportunities in this dynamic
subject. But to adopt this in India will took some time and I do not want to waste the time. So, I choose the
perfect country with the recognized diploma which helps me to secure a good position in my home
country, near future. Accounting is the most basic framework of business. Without an accounting education, students
would be unprepared for the real world.

Experienced accountants with proven financial skills are invaluable to companies and are in great
demand right across the business world. Once qualified and suitably experienced, accountants will be
providing accurate financial advice to their clients or employees on matters to do with cash flow, profit and loss, tax and
auditing etc. Accountancy is a growing industry and there are many job opportunities for bright,
enthusiastic graduates with enquiring minds.

"I consider enrolling on this course to be a major commitment and investment to my future, one that will
not only help me to gain knowledge but will also provide me with a international platform for the next
step in my career. It is a degree which I feel will prepare me for success at the highest levels by equipping

Reason for choosing Fleming College?
My decision to pursue graduate studies in Canada is a result of lengthy discussions with the faculty.
Fleming offered me one personal counselor for providing me the detail about college, course and facilities

the information brochure and the college’s home page, I feel that the graduate study here holds a lot of
promises to me. Fleming College with its unique Diploma program in business and with its commitment

Lambton, Seneca and Conestoga college. But Fleming influenced me lot. As the location, course structure,
and reputation of Global Business Management course is best among all. It is peaceful area on the outside
of Toronto.
Peterborough has everything - a multitude of recreational opportunities, a diverse industrial, commercial
and agricultural base, quality health care and excellent schools - including two post-secondary
institutions. Peterborough is just one hour from the Greater Toronto Area. Real estate is affordable, the
air is clean and communities are safe.

SCOPE OF ACCOUNTING STUDY:

Financial crisis and scandals have shown that human judgment is essential in the accounting profession
because many companies misled investors while staying within their legal boundaries. Thus, the never-
ending trend of new financial regulations means continuously increasing demand for Accountants. In
addition, Accountants also have a greater protection against potential outsourcing which has affected
many high-income professions such as IT. This is because while simple tasks such as book keeping can be
standardized and outsourced, Accounting still involves a great deal of human judgment such as
appropriate selection of Accounting Standards and critical analysis of financial data which cannot be
standardized.

Moreover, Accountant are not limited by any industry because businesses of all size and every nature
need to record their financial transactions and manage their financial data. But with greater career
opportunities also come greater learning responsibilities especially due to ever-changing body of
financial regulations as well as globalization which is resulting in standardization of accounting
standards on a global scale. Thus, huge opportunities have been created for auditors, financial analysts,
and accountants with knowledge of IFRS as well as U.S. GAAP.

FUTURE PLANS:

I expect to have a long career in this field and benefit a wide range of companies. In this way, I hope to
add to the general development of my country’s economy and become a leading professional in my field.

When this course of study will be finished I will come back to my country and definitely I will get the job
related to my field of studies as Demonetization in India, increase the demand of accountant to
manage companies and their personal accounts of individuals. This is the best period to pursue
such ever demanding course from International recognized college.

I will use my knowledge, wisdom and experiences which I will get from Canada for the betterment of my
country and whole world. India is developing day by day and accounting is only profession which is
necessary in all types of firms. In North India, there are many national and multinational firms like Godrej
group, Bharat Forge, Hero group, Reliance industries, Mahindra, Bajaj group, Tata group and so on.

My long-term goal is to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant in a public accounting firm. For this
reason, I am seeking a professional accounting program that will further increase my professional
objectives.

Having an accounting international degree is highly considered during recruitment in nationalized and
reputed accounting bodies in India.
