I am Mehak; D.O.B 13/03/1998 holding Indian Passport#U1977740 have enrolled in two years program
of Global Business Management - a Graduate Certificate commencing in Fall, 2021 at Mohawk
College, Fennel Campus vide my Mohawk student ID is # 000860143.

My passion for business goes deeper into my family genes as my grandfather and father who had been
into business alongwith my mother and this passion was somehow passed on the next generation and
hence; the love came automatic. To accomplish my aim, after completion of my 10th with 9.0 CGPA and
12th Grade with 84.4%; I took admission in Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com.) with OPJS University
Churu, Rajasthan. My background in business provide me with fundamental knowledge of many business
related theories and concepts, as well as familiarity with inter-relationship of management and business. I
learnt principles of management, business economics, accounting, business mathematics, statistics etc.
My bachelors give me a thorough understanding of tents of business such as management, marketing,
operation research, market research, project management. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree recently in
year 2019 with 62.81%.. Now I am acquainted with economic theory and quantitative methods that are
helpful to analyze business enterprises and the factors contributing to the diversity of organizational
structures and the relationships of firms with labor, capital and product markets. Later; to gain some
firsthand experience into the industry; I got job at Jindal Trading Co., Yamunanagar as Marketing
Manager which was my first practical exposure to business in real terms and knew I only wanted to
delve deeper into the world of business.

Having been always appreciated for ideas and innovation; I have always fostered an idea of becoming
a business woman and probably win young achievers award too one day and hence to give my dream a
real shape; as a logical progression; earning a Graduate Certificate in Global Business Management
would ideally complement my undergraduate degree in economics. In addition to this, before setting up own
business, it is quintessential to imbibe and practically experience it. As far as college selection is concerned,
after doing substantial research, I found that Mohawk College is an accredited college and facilities offered
by this college will help me gain not only academic excellence but will also provide me a chance to grow
and have hands on experience through experimental learning or field. It would help me to understand
customer needs and create strategies and business plans to develop and support the global business presence
of a company. Also it will help to develop B2B sales and negotiation skills as well as a personal brand to
launch a successful a professional career in any part of the world. Moreover, this program brings together
participants from all across the globe, thus It would be very rewarding to share and exchange
thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from different nationalities, culture and school of
thought on a single platform.

Gaining international exposure is very important in today’s terms as the world has become one global
market and one needs to know international standards to match up with. To fulfill my dream of
becoming a successful business woman; the journey begins here with great education and excellent
professional environment to learn from some of the best in the industry.

I am a dedicated learner and a hard working individual and given an opportunity; I will put in all the efforts
needed to excel in my desired course that would help me to give my dreams a shape and realize them by
launching myself as a successful business woman of tomorrow.
