Dear Sir/ Madam,

Greetings for the day!

My name is Vrundaben Jadeja. I am writing this letter to express my interest and intentions of studying at
your University. I have applied for a Master of Laboratory for the September 2022 intake. I have chosen
this particular course to enhance my abilities and grow further with the help of your professional tutors. I
come from an academic background in; having over 5 years of job experience in quality control at popular
companies. I also have knowledge in leadership skills, Organizational, Data analysis, and statistical
methods. The projects that I did with the companies have helped me a lot in gaining a better perspective
of the outer world and practical analysis. Although, I believe if I have the guidance and education in the
leadership and administration department specifically, then I will be able to get better promotion and
work at an even better company that can enhance my career and make me capable enough to work head-
on head with the best professionals.

I am extremely passionate about my work, which is clearly seen in my job profile and the projects that I
have done so far. It will be a great honor for me to be studying at your university which will open a variety
of opportunities for me.

Family Background:
Coming to my family, I was born and brought up in one of the respected families in Rajkot, Gujarat, and
married to another amazing family in Surat, Gujarat. My Husband, Samarjeet Jadeja is working as an
engineer in the private sector (You can add the company name). My father, Rajendrasinh Raj has retired
and currently, he is a farmer. My mother, Jagruti Raj is a housewife who has taught me all about
household chores and religious values. I have 1 son, Aditya Jadeja he is 5 years old and currently studying
in junior school. I have one sibling - My brother, meetrajsinh Raj is working as a maintenance fitter at
Goodman Fielder Company in Australia. They have been really supportive and I am blessed to be born into
such a gracious family. Even luckier to have a husband and in-laws that always have my back and motivate
me to achieve greater things in life.
Educational Background:
As far as my education is concerned, I have achieved my degree of Master of Science in Microbiology in
the year 2014 from A N Patel PG institute, Anand, Gujarat, with a C.G.P.A. of 6.41. Before that, I have done
a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in the year 2012 from M B Patel Science College, Anand, Gujarat with
a second class.

I have appeared on the English fluency test of IELTS to study in Australia, and received 6.0 bands overall,
with no less than 5.5 bands in each module.

Job Experience:
Currently, from 1st May I am in Australia for a family visit purpose before that, I am working as an Associate
Quality Control at a company named – Envision Scientific from October 2020 to January 2022. Before this
job, I worked as a Quality Control Officer at a company, Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories from June
2015 to May 2016. Even before that, I worked as a Trainee Officer in the production department at a
company, Novartis Vaccines, from June 2014 to June 2015. Mainly as a Quality control officer, I have
experience working with the team and guiding them through the tasks. In my duties, to inspect completed
work or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements
apart from that, Monitoring overall production performance with regards to technical quality and
compliance with specific requirements. It feels great to converse with the client and know their needs and
understanding of the quality. I have been very precise with the details and found this field has various
sections in-depth that I am professional at but as I need to improve further and be the best at what I do, I
need some more educational qualifications for which I am thriving to study at your university.

Why Master of Laboratory Medicine?

I particularly chose this degree and course because this course would help me accelerate my skills and
learn practical administration. It will help me improve my understanding of global needs and requirements
that would help me in making a great difference in myself and my work. As this course specializes in
subjects like Haematology, General and Medical Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Human Molecular
Biology, Cell, and Molecular Biochemistry, Transfusion Science, Laboratory Medicine Professional
Experience Placement, and Research Sequence. I will be able to apply principal and concepts of laboratory
medicine, testing, and research methods to perform, analyze and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests.
Also, design laboratory investigations with appropriate research skills and technics.

This specific course makes me feel way more excited about my career and I am looking forward to being a
student at this university. It is the perfect decision that I could have ever taken as far as my career is
concerned. With further academic research, practical exposure, and organizational strategies; the sky is
the limit for me.

On the other side, with leadership enhancement, I can handle a laboratory medicine investigation and
research findings with the tactics learned from your institution. I will be able to work on a greater platform
and achieve higher success with bigger projects at the international level as well. For me, medicine is not
just a medicine but a way to live through medicine. The famous Voltaire once said, “Medicine is as close to
love as it is to science, and its relationships matter even at the edge of life itself”. That touched my heart
and went deep into my head. Since then I feel like I am made for this kind of job. We give life to medicine
and not the other way around.

Why The University of Tasmania?

My chosen course is perfect for me as there is a lot of scope for this education in my country, India. Not
many have the proficiency in this job and I want to be better at understanding these concepts. There is no
other university or college that could provide me with all of these subjects in one program; hence, I chose
this university that suits me the best as per my experience and qualifications.

Also, I read about the university that the faculty research emphasizes experiential research and thesis
work supported by the Australian Government. Further research and studies are really helping many
people in the community and that creates huge respect in me for the university. Your mission of devoting
your best help to the students to make their mark in the world makes me feel dedicated and more serious
about how important the educational system is in every country.

Furthermore, as the Indian education system still deals with some hassles, they do not have the required
equipment or professors that are as knowledgeable as Australian professors are. With the student
community, policies, and regulations of your university, it is going to be a great journey for me to be there.

Why did I choose Australia over other countries?

One of the most important reasons to choose Australia to study is because of the high quality of
education. When a student receives a degree from an Australian university/college, it acts as a mark of
trust and excellence at an international level. Education is focused on research and development rather
than theoretical learning. In addition to this, Australian universities are affordable in terms of money and
time compared to UK and USA universities. Taking into consideration the return on an investment after
getting a degree, I found Australia is the best option for me.

In Australia, I will be able to find extremely warm and welcoming people who come from varied ethnic
groups with different cultures and lifestyles; many of them are Indians. Australia has a multicultural
environment thus ensuring friendliness, and inclusivity and providing a wholesome experience. In addition
to this, I will have great international exposure and personalize my skills in a multicultural environment.

Future Goals:
My further aim is to work on international laboratory projects with the leading companies of Surat first.
Most of the people here lack proper and authentic study; therefore, I want to be an asset and make a
bigger career. After finishing my study in Australia, I would come back to Surat and start applying to major
companies over here like Sun Pharma, Divi’s Laboratories, Cipla, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory, where there
are opportunities for me to goal higher with foreign projects. I will be able to work globally with outside
clients and make my family proud.

I am aware of how welcoming Australia and its Universities are to Indian citizens; Hence, I hope you
consider my application and grant me admission to your brilliant University.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Vrundaben Jadeja
