STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

PERSONAL INFORMATION
I would like to introduce myself as an Aryaman Lakhanpal resident of Punjab, India, my
father name is Arvind Kumar and he is working as a civil contactor and mother name is Anita
Sharma who is running her tuition centre. My hobbies are reading books and surfing on the
internet. Through I am from a non-scientific family background but my parents have always
motivated me to excel in whatever the career I choose for myself. I wanted to make my
parents proud because they are the ones whom I owe all my achievements in the life.

ABOUT MY PREVIOUS QUALIFICATION

I have done my secondary qualification from Dalhousie Public School Badhani Pathankot
Punjab in the year 2018, which is affiliated to CBSE board and senior secondary from the
same school in the year 2020. After that, I have given my IELTS exam on 16 January and
scored overall 6.5 bands.

After getting the IELTS result I started preparing myself for Canada as I had planned already.
I got May intake 2021 as per my desired course but because of COVID-19 pandemic the
services has Slowed down it is the reason that I did not get any kind of confirmation. So for
the clarification I have contacted with the authorities of my college who has suggested me
that I have to focus on the July intake so I postponed my study plan and chose the July
intake. I have already informed the Canadian Embassy about my deferment by updating
docs.

ABOUT MY FURTHER QUALIFICATION

For as long back as I can remember, knowledge has always fascinated me. I have always
been motivated by some ingrained competitiveness to know more than the next person as I
am fond of graphics so I decided that web design would be a best career for me because I
have a good knowledge about graphics and my inclination towards the technology forced
me to choose this course as through my course I can learn about the graphics and aesthetic
sense and colour scheme.

This program is comprised of two important components, the technical component which
will help me to acquire the skills needed in web programming and a creative component
which will allow me to develop the artistic ability through principles of design and colour
and image.
WHY CANADA
There are many universities in my country like Lovely Professional University, Guru Nanak
Dev University which offer this course but I decided to study from Canada because of the
very high quality of education in the Canada universities and colleges. Canada also has a
reputation for adopting new technologies at a faster rate than in most other countries.
Canada qualification is recognized by the employers in many countries around the world.
Moreover, it is safe, multicultural, friendly and harmonious society.

Moreover, I choose Montreal because it is preferred place for many overseas students and
is safe, clean, friendly and multicultural environment. It is also becoming the financial centre
of Canada with the beautiful climate conditions and qualitative lifestyle and there are few
friends who would be helpful at the initial phase of my stay.

WHY CDI
I have selected CDI to undertake my studies because it is one of the top ranked institutions
and highly reputed in Canada. The facilities of my course in this college are excellent and
also suit my needs. I have also search some other institutions but I have chosen CDI over
other colleges because of its affordable tuition fees and also its location which is the alluring
factor for me. CDI is located in the hub of city and it is close to many transportation links,
restaurants, and cafes and so on. According to intelligent community forum 2016 it is one of
the seven smartest cities in the world. Furthermore, CDI college helps student to offer work
integrated learning options by learners will get versed knowledge and hand on practice with
studies. The alluring factor is the reviews of pupils for CDI College are admirable which gave
me motivation that this is the place where I can fly without wings.

FINANCIAL BACKGROUND

I have mentioned earlier my parents are running their businesses very successfully In India,
we have so many prosperities on my parents’ name and the market value of these
properties is different. All the properties are located in Talwara and the property’s value is
almost INR: 46886000. My parents are have given these properties on lease so, lease
amount is their another income. So, with the help of smart earnings my parents will be the
ones who will pay my tuition and living expenses.

Parents’ income details

Every year my parents file their income tax returns on time. Last year, my father has filled
the ITR with INR: 498200 and mother INR: 420200. So my family‘s total income is around
INR: 918400
 Details of Funds and GIC
My parents have already paid my one year fees in advance which is CAD: 13968 on 9th
February 2021 and GIC on 10th March 2021 which is CAD: 10175. These both payments
have done with the help of PAUL MERCHANTS. For the clarification purpose I have attached
swift copy of CAD: 13968 and CAD: 10175 with college proof of payment receipt and
remaining balance. Moreover, my father has a account with PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK
and the account balance of his account is INR: 1742044 (CAD: 29034). I can use these
funds and GIC during the stay in CANADA.

FUTURE PLANS
After the completion of my course I will come back to my home country. There are high job
prospects in my country for web developers and a degree from a well reputed institute will
certainly make It is easier for me to get a job. As India is developing day by day and
technology is also inclining by leaps and bounds. It has become a hub of many MNC’s so
they need manpower from beginning level to accomplish the projects within deadline I can
also get employment in many international firms at other developed countries like Japan or
Germany. And a few years after when I get some experience in the job sector, I will take a
master’s program, so as to progress in my career even further. I can open my own academy
as well where I can teach the students about the practical aspects of web designing. This
course will open different fields such as:

Web designing developer

Front and end web developer

Web marketing analyst

Senior web analyst

Web application developer

Design and layout analyst

This list will keep on following and never come to an end as there are number of
opportunities available for those who believe in doing.

I am sure that my curiosity and research skill will help me to succeed in the greatly claiming
program to become an experimentalist. This all has motivated me for international study.
