STATEMENT OF

PURPOSE

My goal in life is to become an idle and successful teacher in education field.

Through this profession I want to serve and help the children to achieve their
ambitions.

Introduction: I, Anjali Sharma, believe that human minds are the most creative
thing made by god, if given the right direction. Although parents are the first
teacher of any child, but teacher plays a great role in children’s life to know the
difference of right and wrong, to maintain discipline, to help others and most
importantly to show the path which lead them to their dream careers. Analyzing
the psychology of children always gives me a kick to do something which helps
these kids in sorting their issues. This thought made me to do an Early Childhood
Diploma.

I with the support of my family applied for Early Childhood Education Program in
CDI College. I live in a nuclear family with my parents. My mother is working as a
primary school teacher this also gives me an inspiration to work in education field.
My father is running his own business. My academic performance was good and
this acted as a booster and made me look at future with confidence & excitement.
My schooling provided me with the much needed information for a scientific
approach in life. I have completed my 10th with 89.57% in 2017 and Grade 12 with
Medical and scored 62.60% in 2019 and got first division in both 10th and 12th
standard. After that I gave an IELTS exam in which I achieved overall 6 bands.

I applied for September intake (2020), because of COVID 19 pandemic I did not get
my direct visa but I got my AIP on 21 st September 2020. With the aid of AIP I was
able to attend my online classes which were started from 26 September 2020 to till
now. During my online classes I have learnt about interpersonal communication,
the occupation and the training process, the health of the child, child observation,
and child development from 0 to 5 years old, child development from 5 to 12 years
old. These subjects have helped me a lot to enhance my sophistication towards my
course. However, during my classes I have not missed my single class so my
attendance is 100%. Moreover, I always scored more than 70% marks in each
module. All of the courses took around 465 hours out of 1200 hours from the
starting.

Moreover, I am prepare for my next intake as with the previous sophistication I will
excel in my career and make name and fame very easily.
Why Early Childhood Education: My mother is my main source of inspiration, since
childhood I have seen her working around kids, teaching them and helping them in
their career choices. I have realized this connection with kids when my mother
started working closely to understand the child psychology, it always gave me a
kick how she study minds of kids and how she crack the problems by simple
changes is teaching methodology. I also want to help kids by studying their mind
and behavior so that I can help them solving it.

Teaching kids can be the best way to get around them. These kids are our future
and the study says that there are lots of scientists in the world who have gone
through many psychological, behavioral and other issues during their childhood,
but still they did amazing work and became famous.

I believe good quality education plays a vital role in growth of any nation and being
a part of such a great cause will be an honour for me. Also my country needs many
amendments in the teaching methodology. So after completion of my program in
CDI College, I will work in different Schools in India to understand the teaching
system and help them in improving it. I will implement the newly learned
knowledge to open new doors for coming generation of India.

This course will give me the opportunity to attend Field placement in schools. I will
be studying, Child Development, Foundations of ECE, Working with Infants and
Toddlers, Communication Skills, child Psychology, Working with School –Age
Children, Child health and well-Being and many more.

WHY CDI College: Under a highly dynamic and hands-on academic environment, I
strongly believe that my potential can be groomed to a well-designed capacity with
the expert guidance of the distinguished faculty of CDI College which uniquely
combine both cognitive and affective instructions through case studies,
individual and Group exercises. I am sure that if I get a chance to be a part of this
intellectually stimulating environment, my talent and creativity will be put to
optimal use to make the society a better place to live with better teaching
technologies. All these facts make CDI College a good place to study.

Why Canada: Canada is known for its multicultural society as well as for having
healthy and safe communities. Students from many countries study in Canada and
this will help to enhance my social skills and develop my personality too.

A host of factors make Canada, the choice for gaining international qualification.
The research based curriculum imbibed with latest teaching learning
methodologies is a perfect blend. Canadian qualification is well aerated around the
globe, valued by employers, organization and governments.

Career Plans: My future plans are to complete my early childhood education

diploma and get the required grades that will allow me to purse as an idle teacher.
After gaining some experience, I want to open my own school for all children who
need education but can’t afford it especially for the students who are facing
challenges. Our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given us a great
opportunity to help students to get free education. The Indian government will pay
all the expenses to person who will make all these arrangements. Most of these
courses are career oriented, students can start-up their own business or attain a
good job after completion of these courses. Also for young kids I can open School
which is named Anganvaadi (Indian Kinder Garden) in India; here also Government
pays all the expenses including mid-day meals.
