STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Introduction and Family Background :

I Happy Singh, born and brought up in Rania, Sirsa located in the state of Haryana. I was born on
06/10/2000. My passport number is U7435624.My father Mr. Sukhdev Singh is a farmer and
mother’s name is Mrs. Manjeet Kaur is a house wife. My parents would be funding my further
education in the UK. My family strongly believes that the investment in education is the best
investment and education is the biggest asset that remains with one’s life till their last breath. Thus
the significance of education has been slowly nurtured in our minds and hence to me, my family is
an intangible asset.

Educational Background:

To commence with my scholastics, I have completed my 10 th grade from ST. Thomas Higher
Secondary school Yamunagar in the year 2017 with 71.2% and 12 th grade in the year 2019 from
same school and scored 71.2% I also did my diploma (DCAA) Diploma in computer application
and accounting from Rajiv Gandhi Computer Sakshtra Mission for 1 year. I have sought the
consulting services to understand about various countries, programs, admission requirements,
migration policies and alike.

Research on University Selection in UK:

I chose the UK as my study abroad destination because I heard a lot about the UK universities and
their globally accepted degrees and other qualifications, further the highly qualified and experienced
staff makes it possible to reach student to altogether different world of education and learning. The
Universities of UK bring lot of sophistication to learning and the qualifications are highly applied
and hence graduates are highly demanded no matter in which country you are in. Hence the degree
from the UK is highly employable in the global network. By living and studying in the UK students
learn new life skills and get adapted to different cultures and grow as an individual.

Leeds Beckett University as the Education Provider:

I have Chosen Leeds Beckett University because it is the university which is acknowledged as one of
the most preferred institutions in UK. It prepares students to be the leaders in the distinct way in
order to attain future prospects and career success. The university provides a wide platform to every
student with higher education, it serve every individual to gain maturity, sensibility and experience to
compete with the global world. To create a learning environment technology is supplemented in
classroom as well as theory classes are integrated with labs to enhance practical knowledge. Apart
from it, the university holds the reputation all round the globe which will be of immense help for me
in acquiring job in India, as the undergraduate graduates with the international degree are much
preferred by the recruiters. Moreover, after researching from internet, I determined that it is
considered among one of the best universities in the UK because of the field of research,
employability, teaching, innovation, engagement and internationalism. The university has industry
links to get the curriculum updated as per the need of today’s business industry and different
employers. The university has won many awards and has top rankings as well.

Indian market. Student get limitless opportunities to polish their communication skills, interpersonal

I intend to extend my future studies in business and management as it’s the capstone sector in today’s
world. It would provide me business conceptual knowledge; management techniques and assist me in
developing business skills through blend of different methodologies of classroom and practical
trainings. Business is the forefront of anything and it controls many, if not all, aspects of life and
therefore having a degree in business and management will make me understand the inner workings
of the global world and the market.
MY CAREER PLAN:
I am interested to join a career in Business Management at a renowned managerial role which
includes Marketing Manager, Logistics & Distribution Manager, and System Analyst etc with a
known company in Banking Industry or Private sector. Few known companies in banking industry
are HDFC Bank Ltd, AXIS Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ICICI Bank Ltd etc along with
Accenture, TATA Motors, and Reliance Industries etc being highly excelled companies in private
sector. Mentioned companies can be my potential employer in India after the completion of the
program. I would be thankful if I’m awarded with the opportunity to pursue Bachelors from the
Leeds Beckett University.
