PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am Amritpal Singh Bal presenting a brief statement of purpose in relation to the Bachelor of
Business Administration that I am choosing to study in the USA. I was born on 07 th July 2001 at
father Jarnail Singh and mother Sukhjinder Kaur’s home. I am a resident of Near Nirkari Bhawan
Hardev Enclave P/O Khankot, Amritsar, Punjab, India (PIN CODE:- 143001) and my passport
number is U3460240.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
I have completed my matriculation from S G H PUBLIC SCHOOL SULTANWIND LINK ROAD
AMRITSAR PUNJAB in 2018, I cleared my 12 th grade from AJIT VIDIALAY SENIOR SECONDARY
SCHOOL AJIT NAGAR AMRITSAR with 66.4% marks in Commerce stream and I have sufficient
knowledge of business. During my studies, I have gained enough knowledge of business and its
working and operations. But, I still required more acquaintance in Business to become a
successful person that can only be possible by studying further. But, this time I anticipate doing
further education from the USA. I am sure that I will be able to imbibe various skills and abilities
throughout my studies which will help me in making a bright future.
Reasons for choosing Bachelor of Business Administration
The prime factor of studying a Bachelor of Business Administration is that it is totally relevant to
my studies and as I wish to become a professional in the business sector, so, it is vital to have
in-depth knowledge of a wide range of business functions. As I possess the desire to become
professional, it is vital to have theoretical business skills and knowledge that would help me to
develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities in life. I can gain
all these qualities after studying following units;

 WHY USA?
The USA is the most popular study destination among international students as it comes in third
place in the world education system. The USA education system maintains the quality and
standard of education given to international students, because of this I really got impressed
with it as it gave me a sense of security. Along with that, this country plays a major role in
furnishing skills, abilities among the students and mentors them in an overall sense. In addition,
I find that the USA is the best option for me to study because of its cultural diversity, friendly
natives and high quality of education.
Furthermore, the USA is known to be a multicultural land in which people from every part of
the world can be found sharing their cultures and customs, making the continent diversified
and friendly for students. This safe and diverse land makes a good lingo for a harmonious
society proving it to be an asset for the country. Moreover, this country happens to be very safe
with appropriate rules and regulations and low crime rate making it attractive for foreign
students. I have realized that the facilities, expertise and diversity available in the US make it
even more unique for students. Considering all these enthralling features I have cherry picked
USA as my study terminus.
Reasons for not choosing my own home country
Prior to deciding on the USA, I have tried to get admission in my home country’s reputed
colleges like Apex International College, Indian school of Business Management and
Administration and many others. But when I tried, I was taken aback to see the criteria of
Indian colleges and universities as admission toward India’s top-ranked institutes is exceedingly
competitive because lakhs of students pass out of high school annually and unoccupied seats
for admission are quite restricted. Ahead of that, students have to deal with the stress to sail
through entrance exams for certain disciplines in reputed colleges and universities. But, there
are very few chances to obtain admission.
Adding fuel to the fire, High deadlines cause even the brightest students to give up on their
anticipation to secure admission to a course and college of their choice. As a result, with no
guaranteed admission, students have to think through the final option of studying abroad.
Eventually students with a strong academic standing and adequate budget choose to further
their higher education abroad at a university of high repute. Since undergraduate admission at
a highly-ranked foreign school is perceived to be comparatively easier, therefore after deep
research, I did not select any Indian institute to do my further studies.
Research about other countries
After India, in my further self-absorption I started looking for colleges/universities in countries
like Canada, Germany and UK etc. for the analogous course. No doubt these are decent
education providers but to study any one of these is not suitable for my pocket due to the huge
tuition fees. In addition, I found some drawbacks in these countries when I compared them
with the USA. I found that living expenses are very high in these countries. Accordingly, by
getting education from the USA I can directly save my tuition cost and living expenses. The cost
of education in Germany and the UK is deliberately escalating every year and the dollar is
gratifying more powerful in the market leading to augmented tuition costs. It is clearly seen
that the cost of education in the UK is going towards the more expensive end, with the financial
assistance. Also, the climatic conditions of these countries are too cold while the USA
environment conditions are almost like Indian type of weather so I have faith that I can easily
adjust myself in the USA and concentrate on my studies properly.
WHY UNIVERSITY OF NORTH AMERICA?
I believe that along with qualification, an education provider plays a crucial role in a student’s
life to gain motivation, self-confidence and a positive attitude as well. Such traits can be
obtained by studying in well authorized and reputed institutes. Thus, I have penetrated various
reputed education providers. These institutes provide education in Business but these do not
meet the requirements as per my expectations regarding tuition fee, student services and their
locations.
It is located in Montana where the transport and many retail shops are destined close by and
even the entertainment sources are close enough. The university has enough classrooms to
accommodate quite a number of students even though the institute is equipped with
technological rooms which makes the studies straight more interesting. In addition, there are
libraries where I can spend my most of the time and even the transportation would not be a
difficulty as the university is nearby the bus station. This university is one of the best in
Montana State and also suits my financial condition. The campus has wireless all throughout
which makes the students connected to their families and outside country. This university has
trained staff which will help me in inculcating various managerial and operational skills which
help me in future. I am sure I would be able to cash in all the qualities that I would be learning
here.
Career opportunities
As the business sector is mushrooming with the passage of every day, there are numerous
employment opportunities for the Bachelor of Business Administration holder. In the USA , I
can join various organizations that I have searched for from those companies. I can work as
Business administrator, Business support office, Business admin trainee, Business development
manager as well.
Forthcoming prospects
My future plans are crystal clear as I will come back to my home country after the completion
of my course in the US. After coming back to my country, I will search for an appropriate job in
the relevant field of my education. As India is a developing nation, thus every day new jobs
come out for those who have recently completed their education as well as for experienced
employees. I have searched www.naukri.com and come to know that a number of companies
can hire me due to international qualification. These are; Kloutix Solutions Pvt Ltd, Globibo
India Pvt Ltd, Global foundries engineering private limited, Interlace India (P) Ltd and different
others.
