I wish to introduce myself as Salman Shahadat Sadi. I was born and raised in Bangladesh
on 7th November 2002 as the third child of my parents. I have an elder sister and brother. I
have been blessed with a very supportive family who has supported me through all my ups
and downs. Since my childhood, I have always dreamt of joining the Bangladesh Army but
unfortunately, I was not selected. However, that did not stop me from working hard and
striving to achieve my further goals to make my parents proud through my perseverance
and persistence. I take life as a challenge, a channel of discovery and innovation, a
prospect for success and a gateway to wealth. As a student, to have access to a better form
of education and career prospects, I tried to find the best institutions in Canada for
undergraduate studies and found the Memorial University of Newfoundland to be the most
favorable one for me. Therefore, I chose the Bachelor of Business Administration at the
Memorial University of Newfoundland. It is one of the most recognized institutions in the
world with outstanding facilities.
As the world is moving at a rapid pace with respect to technological innovations, I found
myself aspiring to be an entrepreneur. I want to leverage my 4 years of fundamental
academic knowledge from the science background onto the business sector. Having an
entrepreneurial mindset helps me move forward to innovate new things in life, and I believe
a versatile degree like BBA can help me reach my ultimate dream to help my country’s
economy move forward.
The World recession has made every industry highly competitive day by day. For a
successful future, each individual needs to present himself with an uncommon qualification
and talent that separates him from the masses. To achieve this goal, attaining degrees from
a quality education provider institute that is globally recognized is mandatory. Therefore, I
want to pursue my Bachelor of Business Admin degree from the Memorial University of
Newfoundland, Canada.
For my higher studies, I chose Canada because its education system is considered among
the best in the world. Canada is amongst the most popular study abroad destinations and it
is multicultural, diverse, and technologically advanced. Furthermore, Canadian people are
very hospitable, friendly and rich, which intrigues international students to embrace their
amazing culture. Their universities offer a variety of programs and their education is highly
accepted globally. Canada has earned the reputation of delivering first-hand training during
the Bachelor's or Master's courses. It receives countless international students through
numerous reputable institutions every year, creating an excellent multicultural hub.
After starting my program at the MUN, my plan is to try my best to score an excellent result,
absorbing proper practical knowledge and skills which I can implement in my country at its
present uplifting condition. I want to work with some renowned companies like BAT (British
American Tobacco), Unilever, Grameenphone, Nestle Bangladesh, etc here in Bangladesh.
The corporate sector here in Bangladesh is competitive because the marketing sector is
quite small. To stand out among all the competitors and reach my desired goal, a degree
from a university like Memorial will help me push forward.
Talking about my family, we are five in total. My father is Md Shahadat Hossain, who is a
businessman. My mother is Jakiya Sultana, who is a house-maker. I have an elder sister
and brother. They are both graduates. My sister is married and she shifted to the USA this
year with her husband. My parents have properties in our home district Lakshmipur. They
earn a significant amount of income per year. They are capable of bearing all our expenses.
After completing my degree from MUN, I have to return to Bangladesh to take responsibility
for my family. Bangladesh is my motherland. This is my home since birth. I will never be
able to grow apart from my own origin. My origin is what defines me and gives me an
identity from where I was born and nurtured. Since my parents are growing older day by
day, I have to take care of my family.
I have a great aspiration to achieve my goals, and I believe that a degree from the Memorial
University of Newfoundland will be the right step towards the intended success. I believe in
strong willpower, sheer dedication, and quality education. I can bring wonders to my country
and make my family happy as well. I hope you find my purpose definitive and in alignment
with your image of promising students and prospects. It would be of great pleasure and
honor for me to ensure my undergraduate studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland,
Canada.
