Parents are often idolized by their kids and they want to follow their
foot-steps and I was not an exception. My father has been a successful
businessman for a long time, and he has been passionate about his
professional commitments that he often mixed up his personal and
professional life as a result of that I witnessed some furious business
discussions which my father had in front of me with his business
counterparts over the phone. My scant knowledge of business jargons
precluded me to understand the purpose of such discussions, and all I
could figure out at young age was that business is more than
purchasing and selling commodities. I forged insatiable greed to know
about all the facets of the business. Even I started contemplating
following my predecessor’s footsteps in a professional career in the
later part of my life during my formative years.
I have been voracious to learn new things since childhood because of
that I referred to all the textbooks with great interest as they were
embedded with profound knowledge which helps me to enhance my
acumen as a result of that I did not struggle to score decent grades in
my academic career. I scored a B2 grade in the 10 th standard. After
that, I got enrolled in the commerce stream as I was keen to amass
knowledge about different aspects of running a business. I secured a B2
grade in the 12th standard. Subsequently, I got admission into a
bachelor of commerce. During the course spanning 3 years, I studied a
wide range of subjects such as Financial accountancy, management
accountancy, corporate communication, business statistic, Human
Resources Management, business law. I scored a 7.34 CGPA in a
Bachelor of commerce. I have scored overall 6.0 bands in IELTS
(Listening-6.0 Reading-6.5, writing-6. 0,Speaking-6.0) which renders my
language proficiency which is rudimentary to getting admission into the
university.
After finishing my graduation, I started working for a company named
Specific Electronics World Pvt Ltd where My duties are to maintain the
inventories, determine the feasible way to transport goods,
communicate with the suppliers, manufacturers and seller, and the
frame and implement policies. I have been working in this company for
more than 3 years, and my job role has helped me to acquire the in and
out knowledge of business which has played a vital role in reigniting my
hunger to learn about the business and its dimensions.
Like many other students I eschew pursuing my further education in
India because the indian education system is a century old and because
of that the professionals who have pursued degree from india struggle
to apply their theoretical knowledge in their professional life. Also
speedy processing times for study permits, top-quality educational
institutions, and an open and welcoming society are just some of the
factors that influence international students when choosing whether to
study in Canada over UK Or USA. Thus, I am determined to propel
prospects as a result of that I have zeroed in on Canada to pursue my
further education. I assert that no other country can come close to
Canada in terms of its education system as well as its rich heritage,
Cultural diversity, political stability, economic growth, and exquisite
weather. All these elements can be useful to illustrate the prosperity of
a nation and Canada has epitomized all of them.
As I was going through the lists of colleges, st. Clair college gravitated to
my attention. I have done an abstruse study and was directed to its
website. Its cornerstone has been laid on five tenets of integrity-
honesty, trust, fairness, responsibility, and respect which makes it stand
apart from the rest. I also realized that my learning will be amplified by
a concoction of a conducive environment, diverse ethnicity, and state-
of-art technology. Ergo, I will get enrolled in International Business
Management – Logistics System at this eminent alma mater. My
education expenses are sponsored by my parents. The tuition fee
amounting to $15700 has been paid and opened a GIC account in
Canada for me with over $10000 deposited. The receipts for the
program fees and GIC are already attached to my application for your
review.
I consider myself privileged that I did not face much difficulty to choose
the course for my further study because professor of fundaments of
financial management did not only teach us concepts of the books but
also gave knowledge about trick and techniques which are required to
run business successfully. He often made us understand that
entrepreneurs as well as managers must possess skill to expand the
market of their products beyond geographical boundaries in order to
survive and remain profitable in era of cut-throat
competition.knowledge. So, after completion of bachelor degree, I
sought help of foreign educational counsellors to choose the course
which provide opportunities to learn all the fundamentals which were
explained by my faculty, and they also suggested me to pick
international business for further study. So, I am determined to
advance my academic journey in the field of international Business.
This course comprises a wide range of modules such as international
business management, feasibility of international trade, canadian
business profile and practices, global value chain, international trade
finance, legal aspects of transportation, communications and
negotiations, and data analytics for supply chain. All these modules
help me to augment my current repertoire as it aims to equip me with
much - needed knowledge of international business management. So, it
would help me to build professional relation with multinational
companies as well as assist to take the advantage of globalization.
As soon as my study gets over in Canada, I am intended to return to my
home country as its economy is booming due to economical reforms
which have been implemented by the current government of India. I
believe that my education qualification will make me more marketable,
and I will be hired by eminent companies such as BlueDart logistics
services, Ekart logistics, XpressBees logistics company, Tata motors, ITC,
and Larsen and toubro where I will be identifying market demands and
the best opportunities to export, and find the most effective and
efficient way of movements of goods across the borders which will
increase the profitability of the company. As per the norm of my
Society, it is my moral duty to be with my family and take care of my
parents in the latter part of their life, and provide financial and
emotional support to all of my family members.
