I am honored to receive this opportunity of introducing myself as Harmanpreet Singh. I come
from a middle-class family residing at Vill Kotla Gujjran, Gurdaspur(Punjab). I would like to
begin by quoting Albert Einstein who once said, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your
balance, you must keep moving.” This is what has inspired me for this step of studying in
Canada. I believe in moving forward and making best decisions, and I firmly believe that
education is the best way to do so. Since my childhood I have always valued education and have
been fascinated by how it transforms your life. I completed my 10 th grade matriculation in 2019
from Central board of secondary education and 12 th grade senior secondary in 2021 from
Punjab school Education board. Furthermore, I completed my IELTS exam with overall 6.5
bands.
Now as the next step of my life, I applied and successfully got admission at Niagara College
(Toronto Campus) for Business Course.
Financial Sponsor-
My father Mr. Nishan Singh who is an agriculturist and Head Constable is sponsoring my
education for Canada. Throughout my studies, they will provide continuous financial support to
ensure that I get quality education. I have also attached Notary attested Income Certificate as
well as Form 16 documents which not only ensures that I have significant personal ties to my
home country but also ensures my financial well-being.
Why Canada?
I chose Canada for a plethora of reasons. Firstly, Canada offers incredible education institutions
which offer best practical based education in the most effective way. My course (Business) isn’t
available in my home country and other business courses here are not well-structured. In
addition to this, Canadian culture and environment is exactly what is required for best
education. It offers diversity, affordable and quality education which ultimately will improve my
personality as well as my skills.
Why Business Course for my studies?
I believe in doing what you’re passionate about. I did my senior secondary education with
Mathematics subject and now I have applied for the relevant Business Course at Niagara
College. I chose this field because I have always loved Business. This field not only offers
immense career possibilities but also offers a chance to bring about a change in society for good
because I believe Business not only helps a businessman but also the society.
Talking specifically, Business course would help me to learn about an organization, personnel
management and everything relating to setting up and managing a business.
This Business Diploma will cover a variety of business-related topics like-

 Analysis of Business Environment

 Personnel Management
 Business Management
 Marketing
 Accounting

Today, owing to globalization boundaries between various nations have been vanished.
Understanding and studying of International Business offers immense possibilities as compared
to being confined to domestic business. Henceforth, this diploma will help me to get familiar
with every aspect of Business which has been my interest and passion for a very long time.
How will I use my specialization in India?
My home country, India is a developing nation which has tremendous scope for success but it
lacks one major thing- skilled human resources. India has millions of unskilled laborers and it
offers tremendous business opportunities but often these opportunities go wasted due to lack
of knowledge. After completing my Business Diploma, I will be equipped with essential
theoretical and practical knowledge required to set-up and operate a business. I always wanted
to be an entrepreneur. Thus, this education would prepare me for that. After that I can start my
own business at my home country and contribute to its development.
Conclusion
I have done enough researches and discussions with friends and experts before taking the
decision for higher study in Canada. I am convinced that the program will prepare me for
pursuing a successful career in the field of Business in India.
The further procedures for the completion of my application and securing admission require
obtaining student visa for Canada. I am looking forward to that. I request you to peruse my
