I’m an investor.

On January 1st last year, I invested thirdty thousand euros in shares in EU Airline
Corporation, an European airline. The share price at that time was one euro fifty and I owned
twenty thousand shares. I also had fifty thousand euros which I could use to buy more shares.
Now I will tell about my investment decision in the quarter in the past year
On March 31st, EU Airlines reported losses over the last three months of fourty five million
euros, had debts of 3 billion euros, and ticket sales were falling. The leads to the share price have
changed: the share price rose from one euro fifty to one euro eighty in January and then fell
sharply to one euro at the end of March. The share price has fallen, therefore, buying stocks at
this time was very appropriate because when the stock price drops, I thought I could buy shares at
a bargain price and easily earn a lot of profit when the price rises again. So I bought fifty
thousand shares at the end of March.
According to the reports, the company's last quarter plan seemed to be efficient against the
company problems. But the plan resulted in the workforce's strikes causing a new problem for the
company. The share price has risen over the last three month and reached a peak of 2 euros at the
beginning of June, but news of the planned strikes has put the price down again and at the end it
standed at one euro sixty per share. so the share price in this quarter was fluctuate and my
decision was taking no action and waiting for a better signal from the company.
At the end of September, EU Airlines reported a big rise in profits, reaching a total of one
hundred twenty five million euros for the quarter. Passeger numbers have increased and the
company has solved its employee relations problems. The share price has increased over the last
three months has reached three euros fifty, the highest level for the year so far. This was the best
time to sell stocks at the best price of the year so far, and with doubts that the company's situation
next quarter would not be so breakthrough, I decided to sell. all the stocks I had and this could be
called a safe option.
At December 31st, The EU airline reported a drop in profit from one hundred twenty five million
euros for the third time to just sixty five million in the fourth quarter. The recent rise in oil prices
has put pressure on airlines to increase fares. As a result, the number of passengers has decreased.
Share prices fell by more than a third in the fourth quarter and stood at two euros. Andat this
time, I decided to take no option.
In short, with such an investment decision, I earned two hundred fourty five thousand euros and I
thought it was a successful investment last year.
