REFLECTION SHEET
1. What scene in the Movie that move you the most?

I have two scenes that moves me the most first when they steal a carp from a rich household and
Gen beg to beaten so that he can take the fish for his mother. They know that stealing is bad but
they still do it despite knowing it punishable just to gave their pregnant mother enough nutrition.
The second scene that moves is the scene where the Enola Gay drop the bomb most of the
people got badly disfigured they look like a zombie perhaps a walking dead where only the
adrenaline let them some people didn’t got disfigured by the radiation like Gen but they die in
the fire just like Gen’s brother, sister and dad. I greatly salute Gen’s dad he had choose to die in
the fire and let Gen and his wife run just to survive but I am touched by Gen’s decision in that
situation he didn’t panic instead he listen to his father which the hardest decision for a son to do
to leave his family to be burn along with his house.

2. What realization have you had/while after watching the movie?

Life is short no matter how hard is the trials in life never think of giving up or to loose hope even
the most precious people in your life had passed way. Death is something we can’t predict so as
fate just like the Fateful Day in Hiroshima,Japan. Who would have thought America would drop a
nuclear bomb in a broad daylight. This Movie made me realize that I should be strong no matter
how many odds in life we may encounter and we must cherished the ones by our side like our
family, comrades and friends for we might not know when will they be taken away from us.

3. If you were Gen and you have given the chance to talk to the government during the era, what
would message be?

If I am Gen and I had been given a chance to talk to the government I would beg them to give us
me and my friends and those other people who had survive the bombing to give us proper shelter
and food in exchange we will work for them. I know there is no free in this world the war isn’t
over and a lot of people are dying just to defeat their enemy maybe working for them exchange
for a shelter and food is not a bad idea at all. They won’t sent kids in the battlefield so I won’t
worry as long as our stomach can be filled with food and there is a safe place to sleep then it’s
good.
