I. Introduction

1
This paper provides detailed information on loft homes,
smart homes, space saver house, and modular furniture so
that we can see their advantages. The research paper
additionally includes figures so that we can visualize and
better understand the topic.

II. Research Statement

LOFT HOUSE - A home with an open layout, high ceilings, and

big shutters is known as a loft style home. Lofts were
initially developed during the conversion of industrial
spaces into low-income housing, and they have grown in
popularity for their design and cozy atmosphere. A loft-
style home can be a great choice for anyone who prefers to
live in a shared space, either by themselves or with other
housemates, and dislikes solid wall divisions. The attic-
like area that was directly below the main roof of a house
or other structure that was originally referred to as a
loft. Since these lofts weren't designed to be the primary
living space, they frequently had sharp angles or ratios
that made creating wall divisions difficult.

A loft is an open area that divides the second floor of a

house from the first floor. It can be used in a variety of
ways because it offers some privacy while also being
accessible to the rest of the house. A loft apartment is
unique from a loft-style home or room because the latter is
an open area with no internal walls dividing any rooms,
except for the bathroom.

Advantage of Loft House:

1. Its space-saving with an open layout that is simple to

customize.
2. The loft space can be converted into different spaces.
3. We can maximize natural light that gives joy and vivacity
to spaces.

SMART HOME
2
Any electric device in a home that is linked to the
internet for information sharing, which include lights,
locks, cameras, televisions, and other devices, is referred
to as a smart home. Through an app on a smartphone or
tablet, you can digitally access, and control connected
devices, also referred to as Internet of Things (IoT)
devices. You can function certain areas in your house with
your voice or a button press if your devices are connected
to a network and are interconnected. Even when you're not
home, you can check on or modify the settings of devices or
appliances. AI or timer settings can be used to function
smart homes. You can do your homework for you with these
options. For instance, you can program your front door to
unlock as you approach your house or the kitchen lights to
turn on when you wake up. AI-enabled smart home appliances
can learn your routines and change settings to suit your
tastes, such as lowering the thermostat at night or turning
on your reading lamp. These practical features make smart
homes a more environment conscious choice by lessening the
consumption of electricity and resources. Smart homes
improve daily life's efficiency, security, and comfort by
automating the home's routines.

Some of the access hassles that some homeowners experience

can be reduced or even eliminated in smart homes. You can
allow access to your home even if you are away at work or
on vacation if you have a landscaping provider. Another
significant benefit of smart homes is customization. Due to
the wide variety of products on the market, you can
customize your home to your tastes. The only limit to the
possibilities in a smart home is your imagination, and each
one is as unique as its owner. Compared to a typical home,
smart homes offer better security benefits. The existence
of doorbell cameras and in-home cameras can prevent
intruders from attempting to get in. Hyperactive kids can
also be prevented from sneaking out of the house by motion
sensors and door/window sensors.

DISADVANTAGE OF SMART HOME:

There are still issues even though the smart home provides
benefits and cost savings. Both the technology's producers
and users continue to experience security risks and bugs.
For instance, skilled hackers can access the internet-
connected appliances in a smart home. In October 2016, a
botnet known as Mirai infiltrated networked DVRs, cameras,
and routers to initiate a Denial-of-Service attack, also
known as a DDoS attack, that brought down several
significant internet sites.

Protecting smart appliances and devices with a strong

password, using encryption when it is available, and only

connecting trusted devices to one's network are steps one
can take to reduce the risks of such attacks.

MODULAR FURNITURE/FIXTURES
A set of furniture items known as modular furniture can be
organized in various ways to suit your individual needs.
You could develop it however you like, and you could take
it apart and reassemble it whenever you need to. I t gives
you the choice of changing modular furniture's individual
components without having to purchase new furniture, saving
you money. Most people are unfamiliar with the concept of
modular furniture. People often buy items from the vendor's
selection when buying furniture for their homes rather than
what they really want. Modular furniture can assist you in
overcoming this issue.  Modular furniture is gaining
attention in the furniture industry due to the many
benefits it offers to its customers. Modular furniture is
easy to put together and take down. Whether you are
redeveloping or have just opened a business and are looking
for the perfect furniture, if you choose to buy modular
furniture, it would be delivered quickly. You can quickly
put it together and start using it because of how easy it
is. Additionally, if some parts are broken, deformed, or
damaged in any way because of improper use, they can be
easily replaced.
Helps move furniture items around a property or to a
different area simple. The furniture can be quickly
disassembled and rebuilt for such a transfer. As more
people work from home, modular furniture is becoming more
and more popular.
III. Conclusion 4
It is essential for us to recognize what can make our home
magnificent and how some of the advance technologies we can
attach to different parts of our home can ensure our
safety. Additionally, we must consider carefully what we
put in our homes and guarantee that the resident is engaged
with the design process. Let's learn how things work in our
homes and how they can benefit our daily lives.
Additionally, we must decorate our home by selecting strong
and durable furniture of excellent quality.
