inxs ele °) (emo tale Mm eaaliliel elites} OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR City of Davao EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. {2 Series of 2022 AN ORDER CREATING THE TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP FOR THE FORMULATION OF THE DAVAO CITY TOURISM MASTER PLAN WHEREAS, the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), a government-owned and controlled corporation is mandated to develop tourism infrastructure projects in the country; WHEREAS, TIEZA granted a fund for the consulting services for the preparation of a Tourism Master Plan for Davao City; WHEREAS, the objective of the project is to formulate a Tourism Master Plan for Davao City for the next 25 years, to conduct financial projections (short, medium, and long term) in accordance with the appropriate business development plan to be established, and to identify immediate support on infrastructure necessary to the tourism development of Davao City; WHEREAS, there is a need to create a Technical Working Group (TWG) which shall ensure the performance of the above-mentioned project; WHEREAS, the local government agencies, together with the private sectors, shall serve as the Technical Working Group to undertake and coordinate on the Preparation, review, validation, approval, and implementation of the Davao City Tourism Master Plan; NOW THEREFORE, I, SARA Z. DUTERTE, Mayor of the City of Davao, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, do hereby order the following: SECTION 1. CREATION. There is hereby created a Technical Working Group (TWG) to assist in the implementation of the Davao City Tourism Master Plan SECTION 2. COMPOSITION OF THE TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP (TW6). The TWG is responsible for the preparation, review, finalization, legitimization, and approval of the Davao City Tourism Master Plan following good governance principles of transparency, accountability, and participatory decision-making. SECTION 4, LEAD OFFICE AND SECRETARIAT OF THE TWG. The Davao Gity Tourism Operations Office (DCTOO), in close coordination with other local and regional government offices and private stakeholders under Tourism Industry, shall serve as the lead office responsible for the completion and legitimization of the Davao City TMP. The DCTOO shall also act as the overall secretariat of the TWG. SECTION 5. TERM. The Technical Working Group shall exist until it has accomplished the purpose of this Order. SECTION 6. FUNDING. All costs pertaining to the operation shall be charged to the fund granted by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. SECTION 7. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this Executive Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected thereby shall remain valid and subsisting. £0 NO.
