The assembly technician is to determine which hydraulic measurement station to utilize based on the required flow rate. All connections are made, both electrical and hydraulic, from pump test bed. Preparation includes: ~ Test Bed Facility (Frame, Piping Installation, Strainer) ~ Liquid to be pumped, inthis case, water (The chloride content of liquids used to test austenitic stainless steal materials not exceed 50.ppm). ~ Liquid Tank of 200 liters capacity ~ Calibration Column 250 ml ~ Compound Gauge SCHUH 4”, Range -760 mmHg ~ 3 bar (attached calibration certificate) ~ Pulsation Dampener NEPTUNE ~ Pressure Gauge SCHUH 4", Range 0 ~ 60 bar (attached calibration certificate) ~ Pressure Relief Vatve, NEPTUNE RV-316-2 ~ Inverter rated 2Hp/380V/3Ph/SOHz (Since we used PLN as Power Line (50Hz) we only use inverter to adjust speed. Meter, Tacho Meter, Vibration Meter ~ Drawing/schematic for pump testing EXECUTION Functional Test ~ Open all valves and let liquid flow and fill-up the pump (if necessary, open venting valve) ~ Start the pump then check pump and electric matar condition ~ Set the back pressure valve with a pressure of 100 psi then record flow, pressure, ampere, noise, temperature at 100 %, 75 %, 50%, 25 % of capacity ~ During Functional Test, all data must be fully recorded at each step. ~ After all steps of Functional Test have been performed and recorded, fully open outlet valve slowly and then adjust flow to 0%, ~ Turn off electric motor to stop the pumpPT. The heading is completed with Customer Name, Job #, Serial #, Order #, and Date. The actual time in seconds is recorded in the appropriate block corresponding to the- test pressure. All successful conclusion of the test, the witnessers will sign (and stamp, if required) the Pump Test Report to signify the acceptance of the pump.
