Automation vs Human Workforce

Looking backwards in humanity's history, we notice that when automation began, the man evolved
with an extraordinary fast process. We all agree with the fact that the industrial revolution brought us into
this situation. This position provides us with all the necessities, a more simplistic living and a higher
possibility to experience a more sustained life. The idea of a job has changed during the last century. In my
opinion, automation complements the human workforce; technology resembling a human counterpart. They
are the inseparable parts of a dynamic and durable economy.

Firstly, the benefits of the digital age are visible in every part of the world, the connection between
places and people or the machines that are executing multiple tasks. Beginning with drones and ending with
coffee makers, we are used to be taking advantage of these gadgets.

We emerged into people whose livelihood depends on technology. The world is evolving; the factory's
workforce is in the process to replace with robots. The gains of this transformation are patently recognised.

On the other hand, technology progresses frighteningly fast, and human-like intelligence alarms the
Luddites. People are scared to be displaced by state-of-the-art machines. It all starts when cutting-edge
technology is adopted in daily circumstances and begins to be accepted and perceived as usual, for example,
self-service checkouts, printers or even smartphones. Nowadays, expertise is elaborated by sophisticated
systems and posts can be replaced by them.

In conclusion, I am entirely convinced that some jobs will no longer exist shortly, but there always is
going to need humans in order for machines and society to function properly. People are increasingly
uncomfortable about the risks that they have to face during this period. All we have to do is to nurture the
love for change and be open to innovation.
