Form Tie System

Offers fast assembly and removal of the temporary formwork. Saves the construction costs as all parts are reusable except
for the separator ( inner unit ) that cast into concrete structures.
APPLICATION
Form ties connect opposite faces of wall formwork to restrain the applied concrete pressures. They transmit loads in
tension between stiff vertical and/or horizontal members associated with the main formwork.

SURFACE PREPARATION :
Surface must be cleaned from dirt and grease before

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
Nowa Mould Oil can be applied by brush, roller or
sprayer. If you are using mould oil sprayer, ensure that
the fine nozzle is used. If the mould oil has over applied,
allow the excess material to drain away and remove it
using a sponge or cloth from the bottom of the mould.

Steel Bar Chair

Steel bar chair are manufacture from 5/6mm hard drawn

wire with powder coated tips at the legs to prevent
corrosion. Highly recommended when heavily loading or
foot traffic on site and it comes with various height.
APPLICATION
AREAS OF APPLICATION :
Top layer reinforcement bars or wire mesh.
• Place the right bar chair product for each structure.
• Raise steel rebars for a gap in between and place the
bar chair underneath.
• Adjust the position nicely to ensure enough support
is given.

Steel Bar Chair Base

NSCBASE
Bar chair base is an additional accessories used to

support a bar chair when casting direct on soil based
foundation. The board surface of the plate will hold the
chair in position and prevent the chair from sinking into
the soil.
APPLICATION
Under steel bar chair, as a base.
• Place the steel bar chair base on top of soil based
foundation.
• Adjust the position nicely and place steel bar chair on
the base.
1.2 NOWA REINFORCEMENT ACCESSORIES
Plastic Heavy Duty Chair

BC
A four legged plastic spacer specially made for slab

reinforcement steel. It has a specially designed head to
accommodate welded wire mesh of bar size from Ø10 – 16mm.
APPLICATION
Thick concrete ground slab.
• Choose a suitable bar chair profile according to the
concrete slab thickness requirement prior to consultant
advice.
• Check and make sure that the steel fabric mesh support
are installed completely at the designated area.
• Lift the steel fabric mesh support and place the bar chair
underneath.
• Adjust the bar chair in perpendicular direction with steel
fabric mesh support.
• Space out the bar chair at every interval of approximate
1 meter. It is prior to be advised by consultant in charge.
• Pour ready-mixed concrete to the designated area to the
acquired thickness. Vibrator is required to prevent
hollowness of concrete slab.
Plastic Wall Spacer

WS
Used as reinforcing mat connector and distance spacer for

vertical formwork. It secures the reinforcing steel in reinforced
concrete structures as the rebar is assembled in place prior to
the final concrete pour. Spacers are left in place for the pour
to keep the reinforcing as permanent part of the structure.
APPLICATION
Wall, Prefabrication.
• Place and tie steel fabric mesh support at the designated
area with desired thickness calculated.
• Clip plastic wall spacer on steel fabric mesh support.
• Space the plastic wall spacer at every interval of
approximate 1 meter. It is prior to be advised by
consultant in charge.
• Install formwork at designated area.
Plastic Wheel Spacer

( Plaswheel )

Plaswheel has a special locking arrangement to minimize the

risk of the spacer becoming dislodged when in position,
strong enough to withstand the normal working pressure and
also flexible to fix on reinforcing steel of different bar sizes.
APPLICATION
Wall, Column, Beam, Cast-in-place, Prefabrication.
• Put and tie the link bar support at the designated area.
• Clip plastic wheel spacer on every link bar support. It is
prior to be advised by consultant in charge.
• Install formwork at designated area with desired thickness
calculated.
Plastic Chair Spacer

Necessary tool in foundation slab to have accurate distance

between steel mesh and ground. Used to secure concrete
structure.
APPLICATION
Concrete ground slab.
• Choose a suitable spacer profile according to the concrete

installed completely and correctly at the designated area.
• Lift the steel fabric mesh and place the spacer underneath.

Concrete Spacer

APPLICATION
Concrete ground slab.

• Rotating the concrete spacer wire on steel fabric mesh
support.
• Space the concrete spacer at every interval of approximate
1 meter. It is prior to be advised by consultant in charge.
• Install formwork at designated area.

Plastic Shim Plate

CSP
Used to fill small gaps or spaces between objects in order to

support, adjust for better fit, or provide a level surface. Can be
used as spacers to fill gaps between parts subject to wear.
APPLICATION
Ground column, concrete precast, tilt-up panel.
• Analyse ground level and calculate the thickness needed
to achieve flat and levelling for concrete.
• Put plastic shim plate on the designated area.
• Place the concrete on top of plastic shim plate to achieve
the optimum levelling.

Nowa waterproofing solution includes PE Sheet that can be customized and waterstop that covers internal & external
joint methods.

Construction Sheet ( NPE )
NPE
Widely used in construction industry as waterproofing

material or permanent weather barriers. The material does
not rot, can't be easily damaged by extreme weather and the
sheets can be reused many times.
APPLICATION
• As surface dust and damp proofing material applied over
concrete floor slabs before installing block and strip
flooring on screeds.
• As a covering for concrete both during and after curing to
protect it from construction debris, mortar, staining, and
abrasion from contact with men, materials or equipment.
• As a temporary enclosure to protect concrete work or
other construction from wind, rain or freezing
temperatures.
• As a temporary glazing material during construction.
• As a flashing material for use around doors and windows.
• As a protective covering for equipment and materials
stored in the open.
• Preparation of the substrate :
The substrate must be reasonably even and free from sharp
protrusions to prevent punctures to the membrane.
• Application procedure for NOWA PE Sheet :
For damp-proofing applications, it is recommended that
all NPE edges overlap by 100mm ( 4 inch ).
