Grammar –

(not) as…as
We use as [adj/ adv] as to say that two things
are the same.
Hannah is as tall as Jess.
Today is as warm as yesterday (was).

We use not as [adj/ adv] as to say that one


thing is less than another.
My brother isn’t as fit as me = I am fitter than my brother (is).
I don’t run as fast as my brother (does). = My brother runs faster
than me/ than I do.
