data from a sample size of 1,000 credit card bills per week. The data complied on a daily
basis is as follows:
(i) Construct and draw a p-chart using this information (including UCL & LCL).
(ii) If the numbers of non-conformities for the next three weeks are 16, 15 and 10, should
the bank be alarmed?

(ii) If the number of billing errors for the next three weeks are 18, 22 and 15, should the
company be alarmed?

identified four large hotels as potential customers. The locations of these hotels in
kilometres on the xy coordinate grid are A=(6,4), B=(3,6), C=(4,2), D=(3,3). The expected
demand for seafood from these hotels are weighted as wA=40, wB=60, wC=30, wD=50.
Recommend a location for the outlet that will minimise the total weighted distance travelled.
