This document contains the list of the material needed for term 3 Art and Design Curriculum frame work.

1. Screen printing frame: It is the foundation
of screen printing and is composed of a
wooden or aluminum frame and a fine
mesh screen stretched over it. The screen

2. Emulsion: Emulsion: It is a light-

sensitive chemical product used to
create a printing matrix on the screen

to the screen and then exposed to light
to harden it and create the image of the
printing matrix.

3. 6 Screen printing buckets of plastisol-

based ink (2 Red, 1 Black, 2 White, and 1
Yellow):

used to print on the screen. There are
various types of plastisol-based screen
printing inks.

4. 6 Squeegees: It is a rubber or plastic tool

used to spread the ink on the screen
printing frame. We need different sizes:

5. Exposer: It is a machine used to expose

the emulsion on the screen printing frame.
It uses a special lamp to harden the
emulsion and create the image of the
