Acknowledgment
Putting together this portfoliohas been difficult. It didn’t seem
conceivable at first to organize all of the knowledge and put it into a
presenting formthat would accurately convey my personality and
everything I’d learned. I’d design the site, stare at it for a bit, and then
redesign it, never like the end product.
Without the help of many people, this study endeavor would not have
been possible. I gratefully convey my appreciation tomy friends who
were helpful and provided vital aid, support, and guidance.
My heartfelt thanks also goto our Professor, Mr. Gilbert Nicanor Atillo,
without his expertise and cooperation this work would have been in
vain.
Thanks a Lot.

1. Introduction
In this poem, the poet thinks about his lost childhood. He wonders about
the moment when he lost his innocence and realized that the world is not
what he seemed it to be. He recalls when his thoughts changed and he
realized the hypocrisy of the people around him. He finally settled down to
the idea that his childhood went to some forgotten place and is hidden in
the face of an innocent infant.
I selected this poem because it's connected with my life and explains the
phenomenon of life. It tells about the golden age that we are in right now
and this age never comes back.
The childhood summary discusses how the innocence of childhood gets
lost when one grows older and becomes aware of the realities of life.
2. Objectives
Years which we have passed can't come back. Our life is full of
adventures and endeavors.
We should learn from the experiences we gained by far.
In the chapter, the Doctor is the average young person, a medical graduate,
fresh without much experience, but one who is sharp and recalls a lesson well-
learned not long ago and he was successful in saving the life of the mother as
well as the child
3. Methodology and Research Design
The idea behind the graphic novel is to tell details of the poem
“Childhood” and the lesson “The Birth” in the most interesting
way possible. Our team wrote minimal dialogues and Bright
colors have been used to keep the novel crisp and clear.
The Birth (graphic novel)
topics were provided by the teacher ."The Birth" and the poem
"Childhood" from the books "Hornbill" and "Snapshot," respectively,
were selected by the team.
The two works "The Birth" and "Childhood" especially were chosen
the teach us about humanity, and the importance of life, age, and
experience.
The story tells about a doctor who was having a very bad day, he
broke up with her girlfriend but when it came to doing his job, as a
surgeon he became a very different man who was keen to save the still
child and mother.
Similarly, the poem “Childhood” teaches us about the importance of
life and living it happily bitter-sweet memories of growing up and not
caring much about the accursed world
5. Conclusion
I have grown a lot this year. My English skills have been worked on and fine-tuned in all areas. I feel
that this year's class helped me to develop into a much better English student. When I look back at the
assignments I did at the beginning of the year and compare them to my work from the end of the year,
my growth is obvious. I have learned so much over this year that the pieces I wrote early on in school
seem pathetic to me now. I have improved as a reader. I can read much faster and still pay attention to
the details, which was one of my goals at the beginning of the year. I'm positive that I grew in this area
because we read so many books and plays during the year. Since we read them at a fast pace, I had to
learn to read fast and retain details, or I would have been very far behind! I am also better at analyzing
books and identifying conflicts, themes, and character developments. This is something that I could
not do at the beginning of the year. My listening skills have improved a little. There weren't a lot of
opportunities to work on my listening skills except when we were listening to an assignment or lesson.
I used to drift off after listening to someone for a while, but I don't do that anymore. From English and
my other classes, my listening skills have gotten better. As a viewer, I don't think I have gotten any
better or any worse. We didn't have many opportunities to view presentations or videos. One of the
presentations we saw was when our class put on the Oedipus the King play we wrote in colloquial
