坦率的讲,出国考试事业部的同事找到我,让我给新出版的教材写序,我还是有点为难的,
毕竟不是我曾经教授过的科目,怕写错了,误人子弟,但反过来又怕因为推卸,影响大家的
感受,也就只有勉为其难了。

其实说起来,我也是和今天的很多学子一样,十几年前经历过托福与 GRE 考试的人,至今


回想那一个个三点以后才能入睡的夜晚以及码齐满桌的参考书与练习册,依旧历历在目。即
使今天,时常国外出差,看到或者聊到某个单词,还是会神经质的反应,嗯,这是个托福词
汇,那是个 GRE 词汇。所以首先我想说的是雅思这个考试真的绝不仅仅是一个考试而已,


而确实是国外生活与学习的必修语言内容,很多词汇、语法与句型将会终生受用,确实是一
个名副其实的能力测评考试,这个考试不仅是必须考,也值得学。


考试其实这是出国的一个条件,不是目的,如果要正确面对和理解考试,我们首先就应该了
解现在的留学这件事无论是学校,社会与学习者都发生了什么样的变化,事实上一切都在


变,学校的考察维度在变,学习者的学习目的在变,教学的形式也在变,十几年前,可以说
是一个几乎唯分数论的时代,而今几乎所有的大学尤其是优秀的大学对中国考生的录取更倾
向于全面的考察,过去的学习者的目标更多的是名校,全奖不在乎专业,希望能借出国这件


事情来改变人生,而今几乎人人都明白出国并不是件很难的事情,而且专业从某种程度上来
说,比名校更重要,更不要指望仅仅通过出国这件事就能改变人生,光宗耀祖,那只是一种


经历而已。过去的学生与现在的学生所期望的教学形式也在经历巨变,大班、演讲、说教与

Introduction

在雅思听力考试中,填空题是主要考察题型,分布范围从第一部分到第四部分
都可能存在。同样是填空题,但在每个 section 的难易度却不相同。

Form Completion 题型介绍

在雅思听力考试中,Form Completion 题经常出现在 Section1。一般情况下,


答案是由一到两个单词组成。Section 1 经常考察一个日常话题的对话里的
事实信息,比如时间、日期、地点(地址)和数字等。运用 Form 里的指
示词,在听力原文中捕捉答案。

Table Completion 题型介绍

Table 题型常常出现在 Section1&Section2。在做 Table 题型时,使用正确的单


词形式很重要,考生需要看清表格。比如:名字的形式,只有名,只有姓,
还是二者都有,有没有使用缩写?数字的形式,使用单词表示还是数字表示,
是否是百分比数字?表格把分类的信息,诸如日期、价格、时间等,总结呈
现出来;通过表格的标题,可以确定填空处答案的信息类别。

Note Completion 题型介绍

Note 题会出现在各个 Section 中,其中 Section1 和 Section4 中比较常见。在


Section4 中,学生需要听一段 Lecture 或者学术相关的对话。学生需要思考话
题,仔细读题,通过填空处前后语法形态,判断所填词性。Note Completion
和 Sentence Completion 不同之处在于,Sentence Completion 中的句子主谓宾各
部分都是完整的;而 Note Completion 中,通常句子是不完整的,考生需要在
录音中听到所需单词,并把听到的单词填到 note 里。

Table Completion 的解题方法和技巧介绍

1 秒看题号

听力的表格题绝大多数是横着讲述信息的,但是个别时候还是会出现竖着讲述信息
的考题,只要跟着题号顺序走即可,因为答案一定是按题号顺序逐个出现的。

2 题号横,竖看;题号竖,横看

如果表格是横向左右依次排序,则要关注竖向的归类关键信息;如果表格是竖向上
下依次排序,则要关注横向的归类关键信息。即如果题号是横置的,则竖向分析表
格信息。若题号是竖置的,则横向分析表格信息。


3 圈注路标词,定位答案

路标词即答案信号词,路标词出现之后答案会紧跟着出来,所以将每一道题的路标


词标记出来加以关注,以便锁定将出现答案的句子。路标词就是空格前的两到三个
词。答案的定位即答案的预测,预测每一个答案的词性或者答案的类型,并通过空
格前的两三个词和空格后的两三个词就可以定位。


4 熟悉其他信息

表格所有的信息一定会在录音里出现,而且是按顺序出现的,所以录音播放之前尽


可能熟悉表格里未挖空的已给信息。

5 双题原则


谨记“双题原则”,两道题平行并列地去做,避免“跟丢”。

TIPS:表格题单复数的处理要点:


1)做题听录音时,抓答案的同时留意尾巴有无读到/S/。

2)如果没有留意到尾巴,看每一道题所在的格子前后的单词来帮助确定单复数。

3)如果仍然确定不了,可数名词选择复数形式写答案,因为答案是复数的概率很高。

Note Completion 的解题方法和技巧介绍

此类型填空题由大标题、小标题以及若干句子组成。

1. 熟悉大标题和小标题

通过大标题了解背景内容(section 4 lecture 中可判定学科类型)。在录音中小标题


原词可能会被念到,也有可能进行同义改写,可利用其进行定位。

2. 圈注路标词和定位答案

路标词就是与答案对应的关键词。一般每一道题的答案会在路标词之后很快出现。
因此要重点关注每一道题空格前的两个单词,这两个词可以帮助你顺藤摸瓜,迅


速地锁定答案大概的位置。同时,做好定位,也就是预测好每一道题答案的方向。
要重点关注空格前面两个词和后面两个词,以此缩小范围,准确预测答案。


3. 双题原则

谨记“双题”原则,避免“跟丢”。在标题式的填空题里,双题指的是小标题与带题


号的题,也就是小标题与题号前后的路标词同时关注,留意答案出现的位置。

4. 简写记录


记录答案时可适当采用简写的形式,尽可能在最短的时间里记录完毕,将精力放
在找寻答案上。

5.语法整理


听力同样要考核语法,所以在誊写答案时要注意以下三个方面的语法检查:


1)大写:句子开头的第一个字母和专有名词的首字母,也可以采取每个字母都大
写的方法。

2)名词单复数:记录录音的复数尾音/S/,同时别忘了通过句子前后的信息再次进
行确认。

3)动词时态:它的处理方法与单复数相同。

Introduction

雅思听力考试当中 Summary 填空题偶尔在雅思听力 Section 3 或 4 中出现,但是 Notes


题是听力考试中最常考的题型之一。Notes 填空题是雅思听力 Section 4 的必考题型,
在 Section 4 的整体占比超过 80%,偶尔也在 Section 3 中出现。了解此类题型的考察

这类题目要求考生听一段对话或演讲(只能听一遍),根据已知信息,写下听到的

Summary 填空题的解题方法和技巧介绍

考生在审题时一定要划出关键句和关键词。关键句即第一句话,是对所听内容
的背景介绍;关键词即空前后的词,有助于考生预测答案的性质,缩小答案范
围并定位答案。预测答案至少应分析词性。做这类题最重要的一点是要有节奏,
要舍得放弃,不要优柔寡断。


Notes 填空题的解题方法和技巧介绍


在读题预测时,考生首先要注意笔记的排版格式,如标题、副标题、黑体字、
斜体字和下划线,找出题目之间的互相关系;接着可以只看题目所在的句子,


划出句中的关键词。

在听的过程中,考生应特别注意表示顺序、总结强调和转折的连接词。表示顺
序的连接词如 firstly, to start with, then, next, thirdly 等;表示总结强调的连接词有


I mean, in order words, that is to say, in short, in brief, in a word 等;表示转折的连
接词有 however, while, on the other hand, though 等,这些词往往能帮助考生定位


答案信息。

关于提升答案速记能力,学生可使用缩写符号,速记符号或记录单词头两个字
母等方式把信息快速记录下来。


此外还需要注意,有时候这类题型的答案信息离得非常近,所以答题要快而果
断,否则极容易漏掉答案。

地图题的解题方法和技巧介绍

地图题一般在考试中分为两类:小平面图,如问路、公园、房屋布局等场景;和
大平面图,如城镇地图等。建议学生拿到题目后,应立刻在图上标出来东,南,
西,北四个方位,因为说话人往往以 north, east, south 和 west 等对地图进行
介绍。

在审题时,考生应注意图中有无入口,有无标志出东南西北方向,道路名字,各


个地点名,以及地图上的特殊标志符号(包括形状和特殊图片)。

生做题时一定要根据题号的顺序来听信息,而不是按从上到下,或从左到右的一


般看图顺序。考生应注意表示方位和部位的专有名词。

在听力过程中,考生应首先注意图中的入口,若无,则需注意录音当中的起点位
置从哪开始。接着要留意听引导看图方向的信号词,以及表明位置的信号词。考


生做题时切记要以说话人的前进方向来确定左右,而不应以看题的视角来确定左
右。

审题时要找差异,选项中有重复出现的单词可归为一类,即合并同类项,重

用并列关系进行过渡衔接。
