Hello! I'm going to San Andres Islands soon! Let me describe my "walkon the beach" checklist for
you.

My checklist includes five important aspects. The first and mostimportantone, it is

Vaccination and immunization. In Colombia, it is required fortrips to the coast to have the yellow
fever vaccine. For that reason, Ihave to visit the doctor to verify my registration and plan a
vaccinationschedule (in case I need it) at least fifteen days before my departure.

The second point on my list is the arrival. The hotel is not near theairport so I need to make
arrangements to receive and greet the service.

The travel agency assigns me someone to pick me up at Gustavo RojasPinilla International Airport.

They already know the day and time of arrival.

Also, I need to make sure I have the right clothes for San Andres.

San Andres is an island, so the cilma is warm and most importantly, theocean. Therefore, I need to
buy several shirts and shorts for the hot weather.

There are also many insects. I need an insect repellent to carry with meat all times. The fourth
point on my list is money.

The official currency is the peso butthey also receive dollars. Although there are several ATMs on
the island,I needto make sure I have enough cash with me in case I do not find one. Finally, there is
one important thing to consider.

That is the contact withanimals during the trip. I can’t mistreat the animals of the place. That's all
friends.

See you in San Andres Islands!
