Unit 2 Page 15: Expansion (Script)

1. I'm really angry with him, actually ... He's been out with his friends every
night this week... Yes, last night it was soccer, tonight it's bowling... The
last time we went out together was for our anniversary, and that was a
month ago... yeah... I know ... it is expensive. I've told him we're saving up
to buy a new car, but he doesn't listen ...

2. Oh, she's great. Whenever I have a problem I can talk to her... We've
known each other since school... Yeah ... She's like a sister to me... we see
each other almost every day... Last summer when I broke up with Nassar,
she was there for me the whole time… yeah

3. Well, he's OK, but he doesn't really do much... That's right... He hasn't
finished the monthly sales report yet... I know... and yesterday he didn't get
in until nearly ten, and that's the third time this week he's been late... I
know... maybe I will...

4. I love her and everything, but sometimes she's so selfish I can't believe it.
She never sends a birthday present, not even a card, but she always
wants something expensive when it's her birthday...Yeah, I know... She's
always been like that... Yeah... since she was a child... Maybe it's because
she's the youngest.

5. He's really noisy all the time. There's garbage all over his driveway. He had
a party last night and it didn't finish until two. I slept in the spare room
because it was quieter... It's been like this since he moved in... yeah, I
know...
