The Ultimate Shopping Experience: How Pamantasan ng Cabuyao 12 E-STEM

Students Respond to the Visual Appeals of Products in an Online Shopping
Environment.

Research Objectives:

(1) To explore the different ways on how the students of Pamantasan ng

Cabuyao respond to the products they see online.
(2) This study seeks to examine how various product images affect brand
impressions and aesthetic assessments when they are presented digitally.
(3) To quantify if online purchasing is beneficial than traditional in-person
shopping.
(4) To determine how many students are using online shopping apps.

Brief Description

Over the past few years, online shopping has become increasingly popular.
It is now considered as commonplace as it not only increases convenience but
also offers greater choices with more affordability. The advances in technology
have helped a lot in using shopping platforms. With this, you may now add
products you want to buy to your basket and save them for later. Due to the
abundance of options, you can simply browse the goods you add to your cart
and, if you decide not to buy it, you can easily remove it. According to the article
that was released in 2021 by Investopedia, many students choose online shopping
because it is not only practical and budget-friendly, but it may also help them to
save money and time. Students are undoubtedly hooked on purchasing online as
many discounts are offered on multiple shopping sites.

students of Pamantasan ng Cabuyao Senior High School A.Y. 2022-2023

Research Objectives:

(1) To measure the level of parental awareness on cyber security to safeguard

their children ages 16 to 17.
(2) To know the number of parents who are aware of cyber security threats.
(3) To examine how the internet affects adolescents.

Brief Description

According to the survey report conducted by Ernst & Young on October

18, 2022, the Generation Z are less serious about cybersecurity. Based on the
cybersecurity report, 34% of GenZ’s have lost their money or data due to harmful
cyber activity, such as phishing, identity theft, invasion of privacy, internet fraud
and hacking. Even though cyberthreats are very rampant, still many of them
disregard cybersecurity training or do not report the incidents.

As our lives continue to progress, the younger generation has been over-
reliant on the virtual world. The cyber world has now become a part of our lives,
but this has also been a great source of cyber threats. The Generation Z are the
targets of cyberattacks because they are very exposed to social media and they
have more screen time than the older generation thus, making them prone to
threats. Younger generations are more technologically competent, but they are
also quite accustomed to doing everything online, from socializing to making
purchases or handling money. Because they have grown up using the Internet
every day, they are less hesitant to engage in online activity or divulge personal
information.

Immersion at Work: Readiness of 12 ESTEM Students of Pamantasan ng Cabuyao

Senior High School A.Y. 2022-2023 on Work Immersion

Research Objectives:

(1) To assess students' readiness for work immersion

(2) To identify whether the work immersion is relevant to pursuing education
and or joining the corporate world.
(3) To come up with an effective way in preparing students with the
accomplishment of their work immersion.

Brief Description

The Work Immersion program is a required subject for secondary education.

The Department of Education released the DepEd Order No. 30 s. 2017, which
directs all senior high school providers to require all senior high school students to
undergo work immersion as a prerequisite to graduation. Students are engaged
in the real workplace, including offices, labs, and workshops, where their prior
training is applicable. Additionally, it will assist in the development of learners' life
and professional skills and get them ready to decide whether to pursue post-
secondary education or work.

However, according to Pareja (2022), a number of issues emerged prior to

the work immersion program, one of which is the procedure for securing the
documentation and specifications outlined in the curriculum guide of the work
immersion program as well as those required by the partner industries. The new
curriculum is still in progress, and while the majority of the senior high school
students are not yet ready for work immersion or aware of its value, it seems that
the students are anxious to get started. In preparation for the achievement of
these goals, the researchers would like to come up with an effective and helpful
way of preparing students for the accomplishment of their work immersion through
a work immersion scheme.
