Toothpicks Clean glass slide

Monoclonal Antibodies

Procedure

1.) Clean the glass slide and mark three circles on it.

2). Unpack the Monoclonal Antibodies (MAB) kit. Use a dropper to add Anti-A, Anti-B, and Anti-
D to the first, second, and third circle respectively, in that order.

3). Set the slide aside carefully avoid disturbing.

4). Clean the ring finger with alcohol swabs and gently rub near the fingertip where the blood
sample will be collected.

5). Use the lancet to prick the fingertip and discard the first drop of blood.

6). Allow the blood to flow and gently press the fingertip to let it fall onto the three circles of
the glass slide.

7). Apply pressure to the pricked area to stop the bleeding, and use a cotton ball if necessary.
8). Gently mix the blood sample using a toothpick and wait for a minute to observe the result.
