Soccer Goal

The reason for wearing footwear with cleats is to give more grip or traction while playing the game since grass when wet tends to be
slippery.

Soccer studs
Are the little bits of rubber or metal that are on the bottom of soccer cleats and shoes to help provide traction.

Soccer jersey(shirt)
One of the main identifiers for referee or spectator of which team the player is playing for.

Soccer short
Players on the same team must wear the same style or color of the shorts just like the Jersey. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to use long
pants if he or she wants to.

Shin Guards
Have been worn since 1874 to protect the front lower part of the leg below the knee of the soccer player.

Long socks
All players on a team must wear matching socks. The reason that the sock is long is mainly because of the Shin Guards must be covered by
socks.

Goalie Gloves
Is a goalkeeper gloves that protect the hands of the players from sting of balls being kicked and to give more grip.

Goalkeepers Uniform
Goalkeepers uniform from each team has different style/design different from the players uniform. Mainly because they have different roles
and for the player to differentiate where to shoot the ball.

Referee’s Whistle
Use as a communication tool between the player and referee. The referee use it to let the players know when to start and stop when an
offense takes place and also to get the players attention.

Referee’s Uniform
Referee have different uniform so that the spectators could differentiate them from the player.

Red and Yellow Cards


Used to warn or penalize a player who has done something wrong. Yellow card signifies as a warning while the Red card indicates that the
player must leave the soccer field right away and not return for the rest of the game.

Corner Flags
On a soccer field, it is required to have a corner flags on each corner of the field. It is essential so that the player would know the boundary
of the field.

Mouth guard
To protect the players teeth from Injury.
