To emphasize or contrast we use strong form.

.Weak forms are used in unstressed syllables.

We use the strong forms when we say a word in isolation.
Strong forms are used to emphasize.
Usually, nouns and main verbs are stressed while prepositions and conjunctions aren’t.
Some words can be used in their weak or strong form depending on the first letter of the
following word.

.when we have weak form, we use function words that are usually unstressed and with
strong form,we use the content words, they have information words that are often
stressed.

.We use weak forms for words that are not so important at the moment of speaking.
Strong forms are the key to what we are talking about.

.the strong form is used when the word is stressed.

Some words are stressed, others not

Weakened form is called weak (short form) opposed to strong form (full form)
pronounced with stress

Ex would /w schwa d/ weak

Him /him/ strong
