Installation Instructions
Download Needed Installation Files

Please transfer the DHI License Manager file (setup.exe) from the location below to a local server or machine.
• \\golder.gds\gal\Cambridge\Apps\FEFLOW\Version_7.3\DHI License Manager (please copy this link and paste in Windows
Explorer)

Please transfer the latest build of FEFLOW 7.3 (Feflow-7.3.7301-x64-en-Compact.exe) from the location below to a local server or
machine.

1. On your local machine, run the License Manager setup.exe file as administrator.
2. Click “Yes” to allow the installer to make changes to your local system.
3. The install wizard will appear, click “Next”.

4. Older systems may require that .NET Framework 4.7.2 be installed. Install it from the following link and try the above instructions again

5. Accept terms in the license agreement and click “Next”
6. Click “Next” to accept the default program features
7. Select “Get Your License File Later” and click “Next”

8. Click “Install” (if asked to update a previous version, click “Yes”)
9. Click “Finish” to complete the installation

1. On your local machine, run the Feflow installer Feflow-7.3.XXXX-x64-en-Compact file as administrator.
2. Click “Yes” to allow the installer to make changes to your local system.
3. The install wizard will appear, click “Next”.

6. Click “Next” to accept the default program features

1. Launch DHI License Management 2. Click “+” button for “FEFLOW” and “7.3” and select “Internet License”

3. Enter your provided User Name and Password and click “Connect”. If you have not been sent this information, please
contact Jeff Randall or Scott Donald.

4. Select your needed license and click “OK”. If the “Apply” button is greyed out, then this is already your preferred license
type. Reminder – a summary of the license types and their functions is below. Please select appropriate license type and
remember to close all FEFLOW instances when not actively using or simulating.

Run FEFLOW 7.3
Logging in to Internet Server via FEFLOW 7.3
1. You may also need to enter your Internet License information after opening FEFLOW. To do this within FEFLOW, go to
Tools and select “License”. After the License Adminstration window opens, please select “Internet License” and enter your
provided Username and Password. Click “Connect”. Select your needed license (F3, FM3, FH3, or FMH3) and click “OK”.
