How to find passing grades?
You are always welcome to email or visit your
academic advisor to find out the passing grades.
Program directors (e.g. Galiya Sagyndykova for SSH)
can also help you with the questions. Lastly, you can
email the Department Chair of your major and raise
the questions.

Generally, you can find the passing grades by looking

at the course list with requirements that is posted
every semester before the registration. Many
courses require prerequisite, and these are the
passing grades.

However, many majors also have exception (e.g.

Mathematics) and you have to have certain grades to
depending on the next course and your major.
Therefore, please look at the academic handbook.

Major declaration
If major declaration is relevant to you, we kindly ask
you to read the conditions for declaring a major in
the academic handbook applicable to your year of
admission, which is available here.
