Suggested topics (choose one):

1- You are planning to go on a business trip. Write to the person you are going to meet. What do you need to tell
them? Perhaps you need to let them know what you want to discuss. Do you want them to arrange anything for
you?

2- Write an opinion piece about the following: “it is better to redeploy staff or to promote internally than to
appoint outside candidates”.

3- You have received the following email from your friend. Write a reply and add any information you think
necessary.

Thanks for inviting me to stay with you when I visit your country next month.
I'm not sure how to get to your apartment from the airport. Could you write back giving me some basic
instructions? What would be the best method of transport for me? I'd prefer one that isn't too expensive!
Just one other thing - what will the weather be like when I get there? (Just so I'll know what clothes to pack!)

4- What can people do to help protect the environment?

My answer:

People usually get excited about meeting other people. However, I’m still shocked about companies that doesn’t
use all their resources. I’m certain that a Senior Developer, e.g, must have more knowledge and capabilities than
a Junior Developer who is taking his first steps. Also, he/she can’t work without help, since he/she is learning. If I
got a penny for every Junior developer I had to train, I would be rich by now. But that doesn’t deny the facts: If
this young trainee pays attention, he will be on my shoes one day and will help another developer. So that’s why
I’m font of training employees in new subjects and promote young talents to grow up in their careers.
