BEE Profiles
Hon. Francis V. Mapile is a Member of the Board of Electrical Engineering,
Professional Regulation Commission. Currently, he is the Managing Director
of  FVMAPILE Incorporated, an electrical services company.

Hon. Mapile was the 2002 National President of  the Institute of Integrated
Electrical Engineers (IIEE) and a Former President of Society of Philippine
Electrical Contractors and Suppliers, Inc. (SPECS) from year 1996 to 1997.
He served as Chairman of the Distribution Management Committee (DMC)
from 2005-2008. He is currently member of the Technical Committee of the
Philippine Electricity Market that governs the WESM. Likewise, Engr. Mapile
is the Chairman of the TC 69 Committee of the BPS doing the Philippine
National Standards for Transformers.

Engr. Mapile, a city scholar is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical


Engineering and Post Graduate of Bachelor of Business Management at the
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He also earned MBA units from Ateneo
de Manila.

He was conferred as the 2009 Most Outstanding Professional in the field of


Electrical Engineering by the Professional Regulation Commission due to his
vast experiences and contributions in the field of electrical engineering.

Being a former instructor at the College of Engineering in various school


such as PLM, NU, Don Bosco, PUP and La Salle, Engr, Mapile is not only a
practitioner but also an academician by heart.

Hon. Jaime V. Mendoza, PEE,  MTM


Currently, a Member of the Board of Electrical Engineering, Professional
Regulation Commission and the Chairman of the Distribution Management
Committee.  He is also a lecturer at the National Engineering Center of the
UP-Diliman  in Competency Training in Power System Engineering. He also
worked as a Consultant for the ADB and WB after retiring from the National
Electrification Administration where he worked for 25 years.

A BSEE graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila(PLM) and had a


Master Degree in Technology Management at UP-Diliman. He also earned a
30 units in Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (power) at UP-Diliman
and a Diploma in Electric Power Distribution System in Norwegian Institute
of Technology in Trondheim, Norway. Had also a Diploma in Leadership and
Management in Ateneo University and  a product of Meralco Power
Engineering Program (MPEP-EE). Currently, taking his Ph. D. in Energy
Engineering at UP-Diliman.

A ninth placer in the Board Examinations for Registered Professional


Electrical Engineers in 1982 (PRC Registration No. 1658 & Registration Date:
10-21-1982) and a second placer on the Statistical Exam. Awarded  Manager
of the Year in 2002 by NEA and Outstanding Service Award by the IIEE in
2000.

He is a Senior Member of the IIEE.
