AUDIO
Audio is defined as anything connected to
sound, specifically when received, recorded,
transferred, or duplicated (HarperCollins,
n.d.). It is anything related to the
documentation and transmission of sound
(Cambridge University, n.d.).
AUDIO MEDIA
Audio Media refers to the media communication that uses
audio equipment to report, document, and deliver
information through the means of sound. It may also refer
to audio formats such as analog tape cassettes, digital
compact discs, and computer files containing audio.

refers to the essential competencies and skills that
allow citizens to engage with media and other 6
information providers effectively and develop
critical thinking and life-long learning skills to
socialize and become active citizens.
Media referred to the sources of information
produced and shared across the globe. Information
can be accessed and presented through various
media sources such as text, visual, audio, motion,
interactive as well as a combination of new and
traditional media- multimedia.
