What is Times New roman?

Times New Roman is a serif font that has been included in every
version of Windows since Windows 3.11. Originally made for the newspaper
"The Times of London" in 1931, Times New Roman has been a standard serif
font in newspapers since the Great Depression and was one of the first fonts
used for desktop publishing. And This means that any new document you start
will use Times New Roman as its typeface. This style of font, which
resembles the print found in books, may not be the font you prefer to use most
often for your documents. That’s why Word created different types of fonts
that you prefer and you are freely to choose what kind of font do you want and
times new roman is one of its Fonts.
