NATURE OF EDUCATIONAL SOCIOLOGY:

The study of educational sociology is not restricted to a particular setting or time period.
In addition to studying the forces that interact between an individual and a society or group,
educational sociology also tries to regulate and control these interacting forces, making it more
than just a theoretical field. The goal of educational sociology is to discover how to manipulate
the educational system in order to improve personality development and, in turn, social control.
In order to maintain stability, protect working-related assets, and enforce discipline, the society
has established some rules. Sociology education is essential for maintaining traditions, values,
and customs. Educational sociology emerged as a field of study intended to prepare teachers for
their future responsibilities. It makes use of the findings from sociological research to plan
educational activities and create efficient implementation strategies. Educational sociology is the
study of the ongoing and dynamic interaction between the individual and his cultural
environment.
