1. Tell me about yourself.

I am Janna Paula C. Cabrera. I am now a licensed teacher major in TLE. Since I am a TLE
teacher, I have many skills gained like baking, cooking, sewing etc. I love to cook and to
bake because it is my passion.

2. What is your weakest point?

My weakest point is sometimes when I miss a deadline I easily get stressed or upset. There
are also times that I’m shy because I’m lack of confidence. Also, I can say no to my
workmate.

3. What is your strongest point?

My strongest point is I am a hard-working person. I have a good personality. I have a


positive mind and I’m approachable.

4. What do you hope to be doing five years from now?

Five years from now I can see myself in a room full of students teaching and sharing them
my skills/ideas. Inspiring everyone to achieve their goals or dreams in life. Lastly, making
my family happy.

5. What do you know about our company? Why do you want to work here?

As I do my research, this company has a higher rating in terms of facilities. Your services
always receive or get a good feedback from people. I want to work here because I want to
share my knowledge and my skills to everyone and also, I want to learn new things, ideas
and experience come from this company. I also believe that this company can make me a
better one and it can mold or develop myself as well as my skills.

6. What is your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment in my life is standing in front of many people wearing my black


toga. Achieving my goals in life. Facing my problems in my own. Being strong in times of
ups and downs. Making my family happy and giving them a stable life.

7. Why should we hire you?

You should hire me simple because I have the passion to do this work. I have the skills and
the experience that you’re looking for. I’m pretty confident that I am the best candidate for
this role.

8. Tell me about a problem you had in your last job and how you resolved it.

I encountered many problems but there is one problem that tested me. Since I am shy type
and my past job is to entertain customers, I should possess a lot of confidence to do my job
very well. That’s why now I am pretty much sure that I already had the confidence to face
everyone with a smile.

Word choice

 Use words that would go directly to the point.


 Selecting precise words will help you increase the impact you create on your
audience.
 In writing a letter it is very important to choose your words because sometimes we
can’t avoid that there are some phrases or sentences that could be offensive or
misunderstood to the audience that’s why you have to choose your words well.
 It also helps you to have an effective communication towards your audience.

Emphasis Techniques

 The most common emphasizing techniques includes bold, capitalization, italics,


underscores, etc.
 It helps you get the attention of your audience.
 It makes the audience linger on that word that’s why they search the special
meaning of that word.
 It helps the audience to easily get your point.

De-emphasis Techniques

 It never uses the emphasis techniques like bold, italics, etc.


 Writing briefly.

Writing concisely

 If you write a letter, make it brief but comprehensive.


 Make your letter clear and concise.
 It helps grab and hold your reader’s attention.
 Avoid unnecessary details or information.
