FIRST HOMECOMING, 1887--1888

FOUR REASON WHY JOSE DECIDE TO GO HOME

1. To operate his mother’s eyes


2. To serve his people who had been long opressed by spanish Tyrants

and Spanish in the Philippines

 The steamer was enroute to the orient via the Suez Canal
