I AM YOUR ANGEL THIS

CHRISTMAS
A 24-year-old woman

named Roda Capiz lives on the

outskirts of Balas, Mexico. She

also has a son, age 5. She still live

with her parents. They don't have

access to water or electricity

power, and they live in a tiny hut.

Although they have enough food

to subsist, it is insufficient to sate

their hunger.

She is also an indigenous person, and

when I approached her and had some

questions for her, she was also quite

friendly. I brought her a simple meal

as a Christmas present. This is one of

the factors that led me to choose her.

Everyone should be able to enjoy a

holiday together, especially those

with families. Given that it marks the

birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas is

certainly a season of giving.
