Peruvian Legend

The story that we are going to tell you is from CAJAMARCA, the
scene of the most important episodes in the history of Peru, it all
began when the Spanish conquerors, under the command of
Francisco Pizarro, took the Inca Atahualpa prisoner. The story goes
that this Inca filled a place known today as the Cuarto of the
Rescate, with gold and silver up to the height of his arm to achieve
his freedom, but the Spanish took the treasure and did not release
the Inca, condemning him to garrotting. Currently, it is possible to
see the place and appreciate how far the trace of the filling of the
enclosure with precious metals at that time remains. Finally, it is also
indicated that the devil's nose in the province of Bolívar possesses
the "loot". Thus, the Pasochoa volcano recently appears as the
guardian of the Inca gold booty.
