When do we use Present Simple or Present Continuous?

Remember to use the present simple for actions that happen in general, routines and habits.
Don’t forget to add the letter S (or ES) for the third person in singular (he, she, it)
Also, the auxiliaries are DO (I, we, you, they) or DOES (he, she it), for affirmative or
negative sentences.
Remember to use the present continuous for actions happening at the moment
or current/temporary projects.
Don’t forget to add the verb to be AM/IS/ARE and the gerund form (verb+ING) For
example: She usually eats healthy food, but today she’s eating cake because it’s her
birthday.
