This bulletin supersedes and replaces Bulletin MNA – 60 which was previously
issued on 27 March 2006.

MODEL: Quattroporte

SUBJECT: Repair of Rear Seat Arm Rest Cup Holders

This bulletin concerns the procedure in repairing the condition of the cup holder
drawer (located in the rear seat arm rest) not closing. In case that the cup holder
from the armrest does not close, follow this procedure and order the following parts:

NOTE: An initial allocation of P/N 980139605 will be sent from MNA Parts
Operations. See MNA Parts Bulletin #13 for more information.

Repair Procedure for Broken Cup Holder Lock Clip

1. Lower the rear seat arm rest

2. Open the arm rest cover

3. Carefully, without damaging to the


leather, pry the access panel from the
arm rest at 2 points on each side
(Arrows, Figure 1)

4. Locate the Plastic Locking Arm and the
Retaining Clip as indicated by the arrow
in Figure 2.

5. Remove the Retaining Clip and broken


Locking Arm (arrow Figure 3)

6. Install the new Locking Arm and


Retaining Clip (both are included in the
QP Rear Ram Rest Clip Kit – p/n
980139605)

7. Test the function of the cup holder to


determine if it stays closed when
pushed in.

8. Re-assemble the access panel.
