The Greek theater, caught my attention due to its distinct characteristics. It featured open-air
amphitheaters and performances that were religious in nature, honoring the gods through
tragedy and comedy. Greek theater emphasized a chorus, masks, and dialogue-driven plots
that explored the human condition and moral dilemmas, while also utilizing dramatic devices
like the deus ex machina and the concept of catharsis to evoke emotional responses from the
audience.
