QS Link:
All devices are connected to HomeWorks processor via 4 core twisted pair shielded cable called as
QS link. QS link has 4 terminals COM, +24 V, MUX & MUX. Wiring topology can be daisy chain, star,

PDU:
Power required by device is express in PDU (power draw units). The device which receives 230V

doesn't consume PDUs e.g. Switching module. The device which doesn't receive 230V will consume
PDUs from QS link e.g. keypad & QSM.

Good Installation Practices With Do And Don'ts: NOTE:

Din Rail Power Module and Another QS Equipment's

Use proper size of MCBs for DIN Rail power modules.

Use UPS power supply for giving control input power to DIN rail power modules

Load phase dimming power module properly in case of Line dimmable LEDs

Do not install DIN rail power modules in vertical position

Use terminal blocks with bypass jumpers for termination of loads on DIN rail power modules

Do not install wireless QSM in metal enclosures.

Do Install occupancy sensor 1.5 m away from HVAC duct and hot lamp source

QS Link Best Wiring Practices

Use QS link cable as per specification
Use wire landing boards for terminating multiple QS link runs
Do not terminate +24-volt wire on DIN rail power modules.
Do not run QS link in same conduit with high voltage power cables
