About Locator One
The Locator One is an autonomous GNSS precision measuring device designed
for construction companies, maritime corporations, geodetic and geophysical
engineers and asset managers with complex motion monitoring tasks. By
placing the devices on settlement rods, we deliver sub centimeter precision.

Locator One uses GNSS and RADAR sensors to monitor both the vertical
movement of the original ground level and the level and thickness of added
sand layers. The automated sensor measures the exact position of the
settlement rod with the precision of - at most - 5 mm along the Z direction
and 3 mm along the X-Y direction.

Large construction companies and maritime corporations use hundreds of

devices for monitoring dikes, dredging grounds, and construction terrains. Our
customers use our back-end database including algorithms to improve the
precision of the measurement.
Benefits of Locator One

Accuracy – By eliminating human intervention,

the Locator One automated monitoring solution
delivers accurate results. It guarantees high
precision and 95% uptime, meaning that 95% of
the planned measurements also lead to a result.

Predictability – Collection and calculation of

accurate data on pre-defined timestamps offers
prediction of subsidence and settlement allowing
for precautionary actions.

Safety – Improves construction site safety by

eliminating unnecessary human involvement, in-
person visits and the use of vehicles on terrains.

Sustainability – Powered by solar energy and a

super capacitor, Locator One functions
autonomously and eliminates the need for
maintenance rides, reducing CO2 during
operations.
How it works
Locator One is engineered to autonomously monitor your
construction grounds. By placing a fleet of devices on
settlement rods, we measure the gradual changes in
deformation. Locator One then delivers accurate and reliable
geodetic data through the Basetime dashboard or your own
preferred information system with an API.

• Installation
A fleet of Locator One devices are mounted on
settlement rods to determine the height of the
baseplates, which are positioned at the original
ground level.

• Control
The devices send their observations and metadata
through an IoT network to our cloud. After geodetic
adjustments and calculations, the data is delivered.

• Dashboard
Results are displayed on the Basetime dashboard, or
preferred environment through an API. In joint
consultation, we adapt the data to the contractor’s
working method.
