Minutes of the First HRPTA Conference


Grade 7 - CAVANSITE
August 26, 2022

I. Opening:
A consultative meeting was called to order at exactly 10:00 A.M. by Ms.
Dhanessa G.Condes, Grade 7- Cavansite Adviser.
II. Attendees

Grade 7 Cavansite Parents and Guardians ( 22 Attendees)
III. Agenda:
a. Election of HRPTA Officers SY 2022-2023
b. Induction of HRPTA Officers (no specific date yet)
c. Meeting of the school head with all the HRPTA President and
d. GPTA Officers on August 31, 2022
e. Homeroom/School Project Donation – 5 sack of cement per class. Deadline
September 8, 2022
f. Collection of Donation for the 5 sack of cement shall be done by the GPTA
Treasurer who will visit the school and go around to each advisory class ones
or twice a week to collect. First collection is on September 2, 2022.

IV. Discusions/Narrations:
 Ms. Dhanessa G. Condes, the class adviser called the meeting to order at
exactly 10:00 AM with an interfaith Prayer.
 Checking of the attendance followed right after.
 The first agendum of the meeting was the election of the new set of
HRPTA officers for S.Y. 2022-2023. Teacher Dhanessa presided the
opening of the election. After being appointed as the new HRPTA
President, Mrs.Mary Ann Sotto took over the election of the remaining
officials. As agreed upon by the majority, the newly appointed HRPTA
Officers are as follows:

 After which, Teacher Dhanessa discussed the Grading System and the
Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the current curricullum
inherent to DO 8, s. 2015. Querries from parents were entertained
regarding this matter.
 The class adviser then talked over the schedule of in-person classes for
SET A and SET B.
 The Performance Tasks play an extensive part in determining the learner’s
progress, and thus the adviser reminded the parents of the importance of
accomplishing the said tasks according to schedule, as some are unable to.
 The class adviser also reminded the parents to closely monitor and check
their children’s outputs and activities before submission. Should there be a
need for clarification, further instruction or assistance on a particular
lesson or activity, it is best to contact the teachers through their messenger
accounts.
 Safety Health Protocol should be strictly observed upon enterring the
school premises. Students are not required to be physically present during
scheduled distribution and retrievals.
 The class adviser reminded the parents of their roles and responsibilities as
stakeholders of the school. He encouraged the parents to cooperate in the
current and upcoming activities and programs of the school for this school
year. With this, the adviser discussed the Collection of Donation for the 5
sack of cement shall be done by the GPTA Treasurer who will visit the
school and go around to each advisory class ones or twice a week to
collect. The distribution of report cards (Form 138) ensued right after.
 Ms. Condes then discussed the SDO of Tacloban City’s intervention on
Reading, Literacy and Numeracy development of all learners.She
mentioned that an alloted time slot will be specifically allocated for the
reading and numeracy intervention for the learners.
 There is also an ongoing Anti-Bullying campaign in the schools. Teacher
stressed the importance of the said campaign and encouraged the parents
to work hand-in-hand with the school to help maintain a child-friendly
learning environment.
 Teacher also reminded the parents on helping the learners maintain the
quality of the borrowed books. She also discussed the guidelines on
borrowing the PC Tablets for Grade 7 Learners.
 As all other pertinent concerns were dealt with for the time being, the
meeting was adjourned with the same number of attendees for each batch.
