Monday - State 5 barriers to school aged children participating in sport. Provide 5


strategies that can help widen the base of the participation pyramid. What is an attitude?

recently.

Make PE mandatory, Provide more funding for PE programs, give more encouragement to stay

Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum, and coccyx

Thursday - No Bell Ringer (Flood Day)

Friday - List 5 examples of venous return mechanisms. What do chemoreceptors,


proprioceptors, and baroreceptors do? What is the difference between an artery, vein,
and capillary?

Gravity, smooth muscle, pocket valves, muscle pump, respiratory muscle pump.

Baro say change in blood pressure, chemo says chemical changes in blood, and proprio says
changes in motor activity

Artery is blood going out with deoxygenated, vein is going in with oxygen, capillary are where
gaseous exchange happen
